Description


Landmark House is one of only three luxury villa rentals situated directly on the very exclusive Sandy Lane Beach. It is privately owned. It is located at the northern end of the beach and commands views of the entire bay. The calm aquamarine water is perfect for swimming, and the bay offers an endless expanse of white sand for strolling or just soaking up a wonderful tan.

The world renowned Sandy Lane Hotel is a two-minute walk along the beach where golf, dining or spa treatments can be arranged (please note that Sandy Lane Hotel may have restrictions on non-residents booking Spa/dining facilities - please enquire) It is also a short walk to Holetown where you will find an excellent selection of restaurants, bars together with local and designer shopping.

You enter the house via a wooden bridge that spans the dense foliage surrounding the house. The house which is built mostly of local coral stone has a large open plan living area that is rather like a very chic pavilion. It is very much the heart of the house. The living room is open on all sides to the open air, perfect for indoor-outdoor living & a real islandy feel.

Leading off the living room there is a stunning pagoda with views of the sea ideal for enjoying all your meals. The kitchen at Landmark has been completely refurbished during the summer of 2019 & is looking fantastic - top of the range. There is a beautiful garden leading directly to the beach and sea

The Villa features four air-conditioned suites as well as two bedrooms located in the adjacent guest cottage. Three on the ground floor of the main villa and one on the first floor, each with its own private bathroom overlooking the gardens.

The Cottage which is full of character, has a distinct tree house feeling with the living and dining areas located on upstairs patios overlooking the lovely gardens.

Morning walks along an almost deserted beach is a wonderful way to start the day. On your return, you will be greeted by the aromas of the wonderful Cook preparing breakfast.

The day can encompass a variety of adventures from sunbathing or reading on your personal lounger on the beach to watching the comings and goings of beach life. In addition, some of the best restaurants are just a short walk away. Turtles can be seen a few meters offshore and snorkelling in the crystal clear waters is excellent.

For the more active, you will be able to participate in many of the sporting activities provided by local vendors.

Before the day is done you can take a swim with the turtles that inhabit the bay or snorkel through the coral found only 100 feet away.

Additional features include a flat screened TV, Hairdryer, DVD player, BBQ, security Safe, ceiling fans and wireless broadband connection

Landmark House has a contemporary laid-back style with some lovely design features including exposed brick walls and bleached wood roofs. It is an enchanting adobe-style home offering barefoot charm combined with luxury.

A private villa with an amazing beach !!

Expert Review Pic Beachhouse Bliss !! Landmark has a very open feel to it with private gardens that lead you out on to the best beach in Barbados. The location alone is a winner but include luxury bedrooms and talented staff and you have a vacation made in heaven. Sandy Lane Resort is a short beach walk away and Holetown a 5-minute drive.

>Good to know the living area is totally open plan onto the garden & the beach but the bedroom area can be secured..there's 24 hour security on the property but I really felt this was more for guest peace of mind than anything else..Also loved the bathrooms!
