Brand New Beach and Marina Development in Port Ferdinand Barbados
The beautiful Caribbean Island of Barbados has just welcomed its newest luxury vacation rental home development to its shores. Port Ferdinand is located on the beautiful North West coast, close to Speightstown where the beach is completely unspoiled and without a doubt one of the best on the Island.
These luxury Beach and Marina side homes extend from the beach to over 16 dramatic acres of inland waterways. The location is quiet yet just 10 minutes along the coast road and you are in Holetown where you will find a great selection of restaurants as well as local and designer shops.
The Best of Both Worlds
The first phase at Port Ferdinand has already been launched and comprises of 32 luxury two and three-bedroom homes fully completed and furnished as well as a 120 yacht marina, a beautiful fine dining restaurant, a more casual pool island restaurant, gourmet shop, spa, pool, children’s club, water taxi service to local restaurants and water sports centre. It will be fully completed within three years and will offer 86 luxury homes in total. Port Ferdinand offers a rare blend of luxury homes to rent with all the amenities of a 5-star hotel on site.
It literally offers the best of both worlds with the space and freedom of a home together with the pampering and luxury found in a five-star hotel.
Port Ferdinand has been created and is being managed by a local Barbadian brand, UNNA who also manages and run the luxury homes at both St Peters Bay and Port St Charles. One of the benefits is that each home includes a berth that can accommodate yachts of 60 to 90ft. There are also complimentary water taxis available that can bring you to the other resorts, swimming with the turtles or to some of the lovely local water-side restaurants.
The interiors and finish in the homes bring rental accommodation in Barbados to a whole new level of luxury. They have been built and decorated by some of Barbados’ top designers using the finest craftsmanship including light oak joinery and featuring a state of the art kitchen and wonderful limestone flooring.
The residences are finished with a contemporary style; including stunning marble stone floors and timeless dark wood through-out. All the homes at Port Ferdinand have stunning and uninterrupted views overlooking the Marina and the turquoise Caribbean Sea beyond.
Of special note in Port Ferdinand is the opening of their Fine Dining restaurant “1359” which has been very aptly named after the longitude and latitude of the island – 13 degrees North and 59 degrees west. It is located right on the water beside the Marina and the yachts and is overseen by well known Michelin starred chef from Dublin – Andrew Turner. The ambience is very trendy and contemporary and features some stunning artwork and a beautiful wine wall.
The luxury homes at Port Ferdinand range from 2,500 square feet up to 6,100 square feet, with property prices starting from $2.15m for a two-bedroom marina view residence to $6.5m for a four-bedroom ocean and marina view penthouse. Each home also provides an owner’s storage room and boat storage room and UNNA property ownership also include the option of duty-free importation of a yacht or motorboat.
