Review update!
Just an update on my previous review - Fosters House now has 5 bedrooms! The fifth bedroom is a Queen & located downstairs (not seaview) and it shares the main bathroom. The exercise room is now a peloton room. I recommend Fosters as a super rental for families who love being by the beach.
Description
Welcome to Fosters House, a lovely five-bedroom beachfront villa located on the Platinum West Coast of Barbados. Fosters House is set right on a white sandy beach at Reeds Bay. Reeds Beach is a calm beach perfect for swimming and sunbathing. It is one of the quieter beaches in Barbados.
The location of Fosters House is ideal – you are just a short drive from Holetown, where you will find a wonderful selection of local and gourmet restaurants as well as bars, shopping, and nightlife.
Fosters House is a great beach villa, offering guests a wonderful beachfront location. Although the property is right on the beach, guests can still enjoy privacy as the villa is set a small bit back from the beach and has a wall in front so others using the beach cannot see in.
The home’s spacious terrace boasts panoramic views of the bay and sea. Pick from one of the many cushioned lounge chaises around the terrace and soak in the warm tropical sun. The large pool has been beautifully designed with an attached jetted tub, offering plenty of space to play in the water. Enjoy an alfresco meal prepared by the staff cooks outside under the cover of the terrace while listening to the Caribbean sea below.
The property is comfortably furnished and features a large swimming pool on the terrace. There is a nice covered dining terrace where you can enjoy your morning breakfast while admiring the wonderful views. Inside, this villa boasts a wonderfully decorated interior. The main floor contains a spacious family room, an additional full bathroom, and spacious living and dining areas which merge onto the patio.
Comfortably sleeping up to ten guests, four bedrooms are located on the upper level and include an en-suite bathroom and air conditioning. The fifth bedroom is located downstairs & shares the main bathroom. The upstairs bedrooms have access to a full-length balcony that looks out over the terrace with sea views beyond and is individually decorated.

We recently returned from Barbados after a 7-night stay at Foster House arranged expertly by Yvonne and Rowena of Exceptional Villas. We shared this magnificent villa with our two sons and their families. With a stunning view of the water, and such spacious and beautiful accommodations, we had everything at our disposal. The staff were wonderful - we were blessed to have Cheryl, our cook, and her lovely staff. They were kind and friendly to us all. The house was always clean and the food delicious. Incredible trip
My family spent a week here; myself, husband, three daughter's and their significant others. It was an incredible trip. The views from our balcony window were stunning. The ocean was a few steps away from the pool with warm, calm water that you can float in all day. We did two excursions, Excellence Catamaran (I highly recommend) and hired a driver to take us to Animal Flower Cave and St. Nicholas Abbey (historical sugar cane plantation, now family owned rum distillery). I was expecting to dine out a few times during our stay, but this was not an option for us after we met the staff and were served meals cooked with love from Cheryl. The staff is hands down what makes this home so special. Anthea, Cathrine and Cheryl truly care about taking care of the guests. They go above and beyond to make sure you are well fed, laundry is washed and folded, bedrooms are clean and fresh for you to lay down after a day of swimming and sun. I cannot express in words the amount of love we felt from these ladies. We were all so sad to leave. My family loves to travel, but this experience was hands down one of the most incredible trips of a life time, especially because of these lovely ladies. I highly recommend this home for your next vacation.

Staff made our holiday
The location and beauty of this home is amazing but it is really the staff that made our holiday. Claire, Catherine, Cheryl and Anthea were incredibly kind and took great care of us. Three fantastic meals a day looking out to the ocean cannot be beat! We will be back some day!

Great villa in a brilliant location
I loved Fosters House - its lower Carlton but its really the start of Gibbs beach so to start off the beach is just gorgeous - great for walking & swimming. I loved the pool deck- its very secure from the beach, its a level above so you've great privacy. Its a super space for dining outdoors - great bbq area. My favourite part is that ALL the bedrooms enjoy the seaview! how fantastic! Also good to know that the living room has A/C along with all bedrooms. There's also a air-conditioned exercise room with wi-fi too! The housekeeper Clare & the cook are delightful. There's a laundress too so pack light!
