Welcome to Firefly at Merlin Bay, one of Barbados loveliest beach front developments comprising of just seven villas nestled on a beautiful palm fringed crescent-shaped shoreline.
Firefly is a lovely three bedroom villa with private plunge pool set on two floors overlooking the stunning beach, large lagoon style communal pool together with the lush gardens of the exclusive and private enclave that is Merlin Bay.
Merlin Bay is situated on a low sea cliff with steps leading down to a stunning beach. It is just one mile north of Holetown where you will find an excellent selection of both local and designer shops. The area is also famous for its many incredible ocean side restaurants. Golf is available close by at both Sandy Lane and Westmoreland Courses, and there is a really good selection of water sports available locally.
You enter Firefly on the living/dining level to find yourself with a commanding unobstructed view and access to the well-landscaped gardens, main pool and the sea. You may choose to watch the beautiful sunsets from your private plunge pool or one of your private terraces which all overlook the sea and garden. The Terraces are the perfect place for relaxing, enjoying a cocktail or dining with friends and family.
A well-equipped kitchen includes a fridge/freezer, toaster, coffee machine, mixer, blender, and electric kettle.
There are three lovely en-suite bedrooms in Firefly all with King Sized beds. All the rooms have quiet ceiling fans for your added comfort.
In the grounds of Merlin Bay, you will be able to enjoy a really beautiful free-form swimming pool. The pristine white sandy beach is just a few steps from Firefly. Here you will enjoy swimming in the incredible warm and calm azure sea. With its understated yet sophisticated style, Firefly is the perfect place for gazing out to the sparkling sea and enjoying the spectacular sunsets that are so often a feature in Barbados.
Staff
Let us pamper you with including your own personal cook, maid/laundress, gardener, and night watchman. The gardener takes beach chairs down to the beach for our guests. If you do decide to leave the sanctuary that is Firefly, there is an incredible selection of wonderful beach side restaurants just a short distance away.

Hi Yvonne, Apologies for not getting back to you before we departed for Barbados. Everything went according to plan and we arrived at Merlin Bay just after midnight. The local agent had bought a few basic provisions, which was most appreciated. The villa was fabulous and we had a wonderful time. The local agent, Maureen, and the house keeper, Marleen, took great care of us. Thanks so much for finding the Firefly for us and for handling our booking so efficiently and speedily, even though much of our communication took place at the last minute and out of hours.
