Secret Escape is located right on the cliff edge in Oia and the views from the terraces are spectacular- a wonderful spot from where to watch the famous colourful sunsets. The villa is beautifully laid out and, although small, it has everything you may need. Due to its location the villa is accessed by a good few steps down from the main pedestrian area and so may not be the best choice for younger or older guests. Secret Escape would be ideal for two couples travelling together who are looking to explore Santorini. It is very close to the centre of Oia so guests can stroll the picturesque white-washed streets with ease. The breakfast in Passaggio Café is also a great treat with plenty of fresh dishes, smoothies and juices to choose from- it will really set up up for the day! I would certainly recommend Secret Escape for a unique travel opportunity to experience a stay in the amazing canava homes typical of Santorini.

Welcome to Secret Escape, a beautiful 2-bedroom villa located in Oia on the wonderful island of Santorini and offering magnificent views of the Caldera, volcano and the Aegean Sea.
Secret Escape is located in the stunning village of Oia on the magnificent island of Santorini.
Oia is famous worldwide for its breath-taking sunsets of orange, blue, purple and red hues blend magically together.
Although small in size, this architectural gem of 60 square metres can accommodate up to four guests for a holiday escape like no other. Perched on the cliff edge, villa Secret Escape boasts spectacular views to be enjoyed from the private verandas.
Secret Escape is split between two levels and is decorated with vintage artefacts and furniture, creating a distinct character and adding a rustic charm to the villa.
The upper floor features a split level space, accommodating a separate area with a queen sized bed, a desk surface along with a spacious seating area with comfortable sofa and a table and chairs. A kitchenette with minifridge, stove, kettle and Espresso maker provide all the essentials. There is also a flat screen television and a bathroom with shower.
The split level layout of this villa offers privacy to guests.
The floors are connected by an internal staircase. The lower level features a second bedroom with a queen-sized bed, desk surface, a bathroom and a separate shower and rain shower head as well as an indoor Jacuzzi tub.
Secret Escape has two separate private verandas, both of which are located on the lower level and enjoying a glass of local Santorini wine is a must! The first veranda is equipped with a table and chairs and the second with a sparkling private pool and sunbeds.
Secret Escape can be found near the Church of Agios Georgios and is within walking distance of shops, galleries, boutiques and local cafés and restaurants.
Breakfast is included for all guests and is prepared in a local café, situated at the start of Oia’s pedestrian street in Passaggio Café. If guests prefer, breakfast can be delivered straight to the villa at an additional delivery cost.

Area description
Secret Escape is situated in Oia, the most westerly point of Santorini. Oia is famous for its legendary colourful sunsets and lively cultural scene.
Oia is quieter than the island’s capital, Fira, which is located 11 kilometres away. The narrow winding pedestrian streets of Oia are simply delightful, scattered with high-end galleries, boutiques, shops, restaurants, cafés and traditional tavernas.
As dusk tiptoes in, a plethora of tourists descend the streets of Oia to find the best spot near the ruins of the Venetian Castle, located on the tip of the island, to watch the sun slip into the Aegean Sea. The sun and sky grow a red hue as the sun gets closer to the horizon, creating a postcard worthy scene.
Santorini is an island that needs no introductions. On the top ten “most desired” destinations worldwide for the past ten years, almost everyone wishes to visit the island for at least one time in their lives. The only habitable caldera in the world and famous destination for weddings, honeymoons and lovers of unique views it attracts visitors literally from all parts of the world.
Not only is Santorini one of the most beautiful islands in the world, it is also geologically and archaeologically one of the most dramatic. The island, which is also called Thira, is shaped like an enormous pair of jaws encircling a lake filled with pure blue water. This is the core of an ancient volcano, which according to legend destroyed the lost continent of Atlantis when it blew its top about 3,600 years ago, burying the ancient city of Akrotiri (now being excavated) under tons of ash and sending out tidal waves that inundated other landmasses.
The island's two towns, Fira and Ia, are perched on the cliff tops of the highest part of the island. Ferries arrive and depart in the harbour below, and visitors walk or ride donkeys up the steep winding path to the towns. The towns are equipped with hotels, good restaurants, bars and plenty of nightlife to keep visitors happy while you relax between visiting the archaeological remains of ancient Thera, dating back to the 9th century BC, on the east side of the island. Other attractions include the excavations at Akrotiri, an archaeological museum and an 18th-century monastery. Santorini has two swimming beaches, Perissa and Kamari, both characterised by their volcanic black sand.
