Summer Lovers Villa is a beautiful and unique residence located in the village of Akrotiri in Santorini. This area of the island offers breath-taking views of the whole of the island, the Aegean Sea and the volcano. The villa has a real Bohemian feel to it coupled with the typical Greek white-washed walls. What I love about this villa is the magnificent outdoor space- with a large swimming pool, alfresco dining and 4 Jacuzzi's in total! One of which is on a bedroom balcony. There is also a bar, outdoor speakers and tropical style cabana canopies. It would be ideal for a group of friends. Summer Lovers also has its own Spa Suite, encouraging guests to truly relax in Santorini style.

Summer Lovers Villa is located in the traditional village of Akrotiri which is beautifully situated on the south west of Santorini, offering breath-taking views to the Aegean Sea, the volcano and the caldera.
Summer Lovers Spa is a perfect accommodation for 10 guests and the villa is decorated in a modern Greek style with natural art pieces and white-washed walls.

Area description
Summer Lovers Villa is located in Akrotiri, a village located on the southwestern end of Santorini Island. The location of the villa offers spectacular views to the Aegean Sea, the picturesque Santorini Caldera and the world-famous breath-taking sunsets.
One of the island’s most significant attractions, the Archaeological Site of Akrotiri is close to the villa. It is the excavation of an advanced pre-historic settlement that was buried in the lava of the volcanic eruption that almost destroyed Santorini in antiquity.
Summer Lovers Villa is also near to the unique Red Beach and the Akrotiri Lighthouse.
Santorini is an island that needs no introductions. On the top ten “most desired” destinations worldwide for the past ten years, almost everyone wishes to visit the island for at least one time in their lives. The only habitable caldera in the world and
famous destination for weddings, honeymoons and lovers of unique views it attracts visitors literally from all parts of the world.
Not only is Santorini one of the most beautiful islands in the world, it is also geologically and archaeologically one of the most dramatic. The island, which is also called Thira, is shaped like an enormous pair of jaws encircling a lake filled with pure blue water. This is the core of an ancient volcano, which according to legend destroyed the lost continent of Atlantis when it blew its top about 3,600 years ago, burying the ancient city of Akrotiri (now being excavated) under tons of ash and sending out tidal waves that inundated other landmasses.
The island's two towns, Fira and Ia, are perched on the cliff tops of the highest part of the island. Ferries arrive and depart in the harbour below, and visitors walk or ride donkeys up the steep winding path to the towns. The towns are equipped with hotels, good restaurants, bars and plenty of nightlife to keep visitors happy while you relax between visiting the archaeological remains of ancient Thera, dating back to the 9th century BC, on the east side of the island. Other attractions include the excavations at Akrotiri, an archaeological museum and an 18th-century monastery.
Santorini has two swimming beaches, Perissa and Kamari, both characterised by their volcanic black sand.

Perfection
We booked Summer Lovers Villa because we saw the video! My kids were really excited when they saw all those Jacuzzis for themselves!What We couldn't imagine is that the villa in reality was even better! It offers you full panoramic view of the caldera and volcano of Santorini! The personal is perfect! The concierge help us with all the trips suggestions and reservations!The decoration, breakfasts in the morning, the private chef... We enjoyed a lot! We can not wait until next summer!! We are coming back for sure!!!!
MUST STAY VILLA IN SANTORINI!
When I say that to work with Laura and her team at Summer Lovers was a dream that is an understatement. Every thing we needed from arrival to departure (hated to leave) was anticipated and done with perfection. For once I felt like one of my kids...... everything that I asked for was provided for me. I tried to make a Tinto Verano (cocktail) like we had in San Sebastian Spain and it was OK but Laura saw what I was trying do and made a perfect pitcher full and surprised us 15 minutes later. This villa is like staying at a luxury hotel that you have all to yourself. I will be back soon!
