I visited Apollo in May while on-island to see some of the villas we feature. Apollo stood out straight away for its luxury interiors, attention to detail and the beautiful outdoor terrace. Above all, Apollo is very private - something that you come to appreciate when staying in a property on the caldera. The villa is spacious and wonderfully open plan and there is a beautiful airy feel throughout. It would be ideal for two couples travelling together or for a family with older children. I would highly recommend a stay here - a real treat!

You and your guests will enter via a private gate from the Firostefani footpath and descend the steps to Apollo where you are greeted with the amazing view of your hand-crafted infinity pool and the volcano behind. The view is completely uninterrupted as the villa sits on the edge of the picturesque Caldera.
Apollo encourages guests to laze about on the ultra-modern sun loungers surrounding the pool while taking in the panoramic caldera view. Alfresco dining is a must at Apollo at your private outdoor dining area, the perfect setting for a candlelit dinner against the backdrop of the world-famous sunset.
The interiors of Apollo are simply stunning, incorporating the traditional canava with beautiful modern furnishings and fittings. Bespoke art pieces adorn the walls of Apollo and couple this with the artisan furniture and the simple yet spacious layout, the villa is a designer haven every way you look.
The two spacious bedrooms both feature king-size beds and enjoy the exceptional Caldera view and one of them boasts a romantic over-size bathtub with views to the volcano through the perfectly positioned window.

There is lots to do on this wonderful picturesque island and we would highly recommend walking Skaros Rock - especially at sunset - the views are incredible!

Area description
Apollo Villa is located in Firostefani which is a village on the island of Santorini in Greece. It is a short 1.2 kilometres to the capital, Fira and only 3.6 kilometres to Exo Gialos Beach.
Firostefani lies to the north of Fira and there is little difference that separates it from its considerable larger neighbour. Without a doubt, the views from this part of Santorini are spectacular, offering another perspective of Santorini volcano. One can enjoy the magnificent sight of Fira itself and the breath-taking sunset in the evening.
The village has plenty of restaurants and cafes located on the most fabulous locations. Between the village of Firostefani and Imerovigli lies the Agios Nikolas Monastery. Hotels are plenty in Firostefania. They are quite picturesque with vividly coloured houses. There are also few shops, most of them are concentrated at the main shopping street, at the centre of Firostefani.
Santorini is an island that needs no introductions. On the top ten “most desired” destinations worldwide for the past ten years, almost everyone wishes to visit the island for at least one time in their lives. The only habitable caldera in the world and
famous destination for weddings, honeymoons and lovers of unique views it attracts visitors literally from all parts of the world.
Not only is Santorini one of the most beautiful islands in the world, it is also geologically and archaeologically one of the most dramatic. The island, which is also called Thira, is shaped like an enormous pair of jaws encircling a lake filled with pure blue water. This is the core of an ancient volcano, which according to legend destroyed the lost continent of Atlantis when it blew its top about 3,600 years ago, burying the ancient city of Akrotiri (now being excavated) under tons of ash and sending out tidal waves that inundated other landmasses.
The island's two towns, Fira and Ia, are perched on the cliff tops of the highest part of the island. Ferries arrive and depart in the harbour below, and visitors walk or ride donkeys up the steep winding path to the towns. The towns are equipped with hotels, good restaurants, bars and plenty of nightlife to keep visitors happy while you relax between visiting the archaeological remains of ancient Thera, dating back to the 9th century BC, on the east side of the island. Other attractions include the excavations at Akrotiri, an archaeological museum and an 18th-century monastery. Santorini has two swimming beaches, Perissa and Kamari, both characterised by their volcanic black sand.

The holiday was amazing!
The holiday was amazing, the villa (Etheras) was in a perfect location with breathtaking views. Yannis was the perfect host making sure everything we required was made possible. The chef made us a lovely breakfast every morning at anytime we requested and the villa was always clean and fresh on our return from a day out. The transfer company run by Artemis was very professional and always on time. The small harbour of Amoudi was a perfect lunch destination, the morning breakfast had to be captured, a ride on a catamaran can't be missed and last of all the countless number of sunsets seen from all around the island. There is so much more, we all loved it and miss it.

The villa and your service were amazing. It made the vacation all the more enjoyable knowing the details were taken care of and I could rely on you to address whatever need I had. I couldn’t recommend Exceptional Villas more.

Was lucky enough to stay here on my most recent visit to Santorini for my birthday. My partner surprised me and the villa did not disappoint! breakfast was fresh and generous, staff was helpful. We were moments away from shops and restaurants so the location was ideal. Beautiful villa, will definitely return!
