Welcome to Sea Grape, a comfortable, beachfront 5-bedroom villa located directly on the beach at Rum Point on the north coast of the island of Grand Cayman. This ample, one-story easy-going villa offers the atmosphere of a cozy beach house, including an oceanfront pool, sandy beach with palm trees, a hammock for good book reads or afternoon siestas and a thatched gazebo for outdoor dining on the beach.
The white sandy beachfront is perfect for long romantic walks in any direction or for a hard jog in the early mornings if you are so prone, and even though pool shoes or fins are highly recommended for swimming in the sea, the marine environment makes for amazing encounters with sea life when snorkeling.
The sliding glass doors and oceanfront windows make of Sea Grape villa a light and sunny home away from home no matter the time of the year. Having the beach and the sea just steps away from your back door makes every room feel beachy, bright and inviting. Another lovely spot to enjoy is the screened porch offering pool and beach views. In this area you can find a sectional sofa which makes the perfect pre-dinner sitting room to taste cocktails and have a good chat with family and friends. It is also home to a lovely dining area where the chef of the group can lay-out the dish of the day, which is immediately enhanced by the views from the house.
Apart from a comfortable living room with views towards the beach (again!), this villa offers a game room with a large flat screen TV, a bar for game nights and a small pool table to keep everybody entertained during off-time. The great room is casual yet very appealing with a fully equipped kitchen, some additional dining area and plenty of comfy seating overlooking the beach.
As if the above was not enough as far as socializing options go, the outdoor pool terrace hosts a charcoal BBQ grill for cook-outs, and you can enjoy a jump in the freshwater pool while keeping an eye on whatever’s “cookin’” on the grill. Definitely no lack of choice at Sea Grape villa!

•All villas are cleaned and sanitized prior to each guest's arrival using health agency-approved cleaners and disinfectants. We also ask our owners to provide a starter supply of extra cleaning products. Additional housekeeping services can be purchased after booking in 3-hour time blocks. This villa is a beachfront home. It should be noted that beaches change their shape and size from day to day, week to week and month to month, mainly as a response to seasonal waves, currents and tides. Every effort has been made to depict the beach in front of this property, but temporary changes may occur.
The entire island is only 22 miles wide from west to east, so you are never too far from anywhere on Grand Cayman. The homes on the oceanfront in Rum Point offer great reef protected snorkeling. The beaches usually have plenty of white sand, but also can have spots of rocky “ironshore” with natural rock formations. The closer you get to Rum Point, usually the sandier the beach as well as swimming. Either way, with the abundant marine life we have in the water, you will want to wear pool shoes or fins for foot protection. The prevailing trade winds from the east also make flying insects less of a nuisance—many of the homes in Rum Point don’t even need a screened porch. The big draw to this area is the proximity to the Rum Point Club, a public beach club that offers a fantastic barefoot beach, many watersports, a restaurant bar and grill, a gift shop and pick-up beach volleyball games. Also near Rum Point is the Kaibo Yacht Club restaurant, bar and marina.
Lastly, there are 2 large resorts in the east end (Morritt's and The Reef) that offer manicured beaches as well as restaurants, a modern grocery store, liquor store, gift shops, a Subway sandwich shop, and cafe/pastry shop. These two resorts also offer scuba, snorkel trips, jet skis, windsurfing, kiteboarding, ocean front pools and bar service.
General Grand Cayman Beach Notes: All beaches in Grand Cayman are technically “public” since the Queen owns up to the high water mark and the shoreline quality behind your property may vary seasonally. Be advised that the beach or water entry behind your property may vary slightly from the images on our website because of the weather. The next-door beach is also always available for your use.
Ocean Debris & Sargassum Seaweed: Beaches in Grand Cayman may also experience floating ocean debris and sargassum weed seasonally. Sargassum is a generally harmless floating seaweed that has increased in frequency in recent years. Although sargassum is an unsightly nuisance, it is largely seasonal in summer. Our owners do make efforts to remove heavy sargassum and will have the beach raked prior to your arrival.
