This beautiful property was once a rural residence for an illustrious Florentine family and was at the epicenter of their celebrated vineyard.

This part of Gloriante’s history may be consigned to the pages of the past, but as you relax in the stately reception rooms, sleep in the vaulted bedrooms, or roam the hillside gardens, you will have that happy sensation of walking in the footsteps of those fortunate forebears who once graced this timeless land.

The current owner of Gloriante inherited the estate in 1999 and began a tasteful and sensitive restoration that returned the property to its former grandeur while adding the necessary 21st-century amenities.

The grand entrance brings guests to the interconnected ground-floor reception rooms. As expected, these beautiful spaces are magnificent. Rich colors, antiques, lush fabrics, and an eclectic mix of art create a backdrop for a unique and sophisticated vacation. Villa Gloriante is a celebration of comfort and style. Vaulted ceilings, arched doorways, stately fireplaces, and large windows define the spaces.

The original architectural features have been retained, and this Tuscan manor returns you to a timeless setting. The beautiful main reception room, the adjacent library, and the timbered ceiling of the large dining hall are dramatic settings that deliver a memorable ambiance with true comfort and style.

The meticulous restoration by talented artisans and craftsmen has breathed new life into the painted floors, decorated ceilings, and original features. Each window beautifully frames the unparalleled views of the surrounding countryside, enticing guests to venture outside to explore the manicured gardens.

The ancient and historic city of Florence is the jewel on the horizon, being a mere 20 minutes from Villa Gloriante. The spacious botanical gardens that surround Gloriante are perfect for exploration. There are lovely lawn areas, shaded spaces, and, of course, the large infinity-edge swimming pool. The pool area is furnished with sun loungers. The views from the pool and its surroundings are limitless. The soft rolling hills of Tuscany unfold into the distance. From this gentle height, this beautiful view takes on an even more romantic charm at night as the farmhouses and small communities illuminate like a thousand stars.

Conveniently, there are outdoor showers by the pool. Also, the pool can be heated for an additional fee, which is ideal if your vacation is out of high season.

Gloriante’s eight bedrooms are distributed over the three floors. There’s a queen bedroom at ground floor level with a dedicated ensuite bathroom. Three further bedrooms are on the first floor (level two). Two of these bedrooms have king beds, and the third is a twin room. All three of these bedrooms have a private ensuite bathroom and are air-conditioned.

The remaining four bedrooms are on the second floor (level three). Two are king bedrooms with a private ensuite. The other two bedrooms are twin-bedded and share a bathroom. Again, these four bedrooms are air-conditioned. Guests navigate the Villa by internal staircases.

The contemporary kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances. There is a formal indoor dining hall and an outdoor pavilion for more informal alfresco dining.

Life at Gloriante is a magical combination of old-world charm and contemporary amenities. The Villa has Smart TVs with Prime Video and Netflix. Guests have access to WiFi and internet connectivity, too. The Villa has a heating system, should it be needed.

Eight bedrooms and seven bathrooms provide accommodation for up to 16 guests.

Ground floor:
Bedroom 1: Queen bedroom with ensuite bathroom with a shower (barrier-free), wall-mounted a/c unit. This beautiful bedroom has a private sitting room.

First Floor:
Bedroom 2: King bedroom with an ensuite bathroom with shower and a/c portable unit. This beautiful bedroom has a seated desk area.
Bedroom 3: King bedroom with ensuite bathroom with tub, wall-mounted shower, and a wall-mounted a/c unit.
Bedroom 4: Twin bedroom with ensuite bathroom with tub and wall-mounted shower, and an a/c portable unit.

Second floor:
Bedroom 5: King bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower and a wall-mounted a/c unit.
Bedroom 6: Twin bedroom with shared bathroom with tub and wall-mounted shower, and an a/c portable unit.

• The local host lives in an independent quarter within the estate with a separate entrance. Guests’ privacy is guaranteed
• Check-in between 4 pm and 8 pm – Check-out by 10 am
• The Italian government might require the payment of a Visitor’s Tax (approximately €1.50 – €5.00 per person, per day, depending on the location). It may be applied for the first seven days at the destination. This tax is payable locally in Euro cash
