Nestled neatly among lush forests, Montaione is becoming popular for those who want to enjoy the timeless rustic charm of Tuscany. One hour by car, or train, from Florence, the medieval hamlet is the perfect starting point to visit Tuscany’s world-renown towns such as Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra, Lucca, Pisa, and the beaches of Versilia. Surrounded by gently rolling hills and glorious views, Danica has been meticulously restored to create the perfect scenario for a vacation you and your guests will never forget.

The ground level is where all the social spaces are located. The traditional Tuscan structure made of bricks, wood and stone is counterbalanced by the soft monochromatic colour scheme interrupted by splashes of colour. This floor includes an inviting and generous living room with comfortable seating and a fireplace, a separate dining room that seats up to 12 of your guests, and adjacent to the renovated kitchen with bright appliances, two separate drawing rooms, a guest bathroom and laundry room.

Most of the rooms at Danica open onto the massive garden. Step out in the morning and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere that surrounds your home. In the annexe, located not distant from the main house, the playroom, is a convivial open space to use for playing friendly pool games and table football. This space is ideal for younger members of the group and is guaranteed to provide entertainment for hours. A convenient kitchenette and living area are also available in case hunger strikes and you want to prepare midnight spaghetti.

The outdoor area of the villa is one to be reckoned with. Enjoy the fabulous infinity swimming pool while basking in the Tuscan sunshine, or the panoramic terrace facing the serene Instagram-worthy views of the Castelfalfi golf course. This home is ideal for golf lovers as it is so close, allowing you to play a few rounds, while other guests can spend sunny days lounging by the pool on one of the many sun loungers that line the pool.

Outside the annexe, a loggia with a dining area and a large gas barbeque. The most famous area to explore is the Chianti region, a blessed land that covers a rather large wine-producing region of Tuscany, reaching from Florence to Siena, and all the way out to Pisa. Chianti's must-see sights are the wine villages of Castellina, Radda and Gaiole. Along the road visit the Badia di Coltibuono and/or Castello di Brolio and do not forget to pick up some wine to enjoy at the villa.
