Welcome to Blue Water Villa (formerly Villa Zara), recently renovated by new owners. This gated estate sits directly oceanfront in Rum Point, along Grand Cayman's north coast. The villa enjoys panoramic ocean views and provides a secluded and private vacation along the northern coast of Grand Cayman. The villa can accommodate up to 10 guests over 5 bedrooms/5 bathrooms.

Rum point offers a plethora of relations. This laid-back, island-style area has a great beachfront club with table service dining, shops, and a sandy beach, perfect for swimming! You can jet ski along the water and park up along the private dock as you enjoy a cocktail in the beach bar. Stingray City tours are a short 10-minute boat ride from here.

Blue Water villa is a stunning villa, that overlooks the azure Caribbean Sea. This palatial villa offers a gorgeous pool deck complete with an oceanfront heated spa to soak in. A large sandy beach with phenomenal snorkeling is mere footsteps away. For snorkel enthusiasts with a taste for vacationing in luxury. A healthy marine environment awaits your discovery in these mild turquoise waters! We ask that you wear pool shoes or fins when you go exploring

From the moment you step into the tiled foyer, it becomes apparent that Blue Water Villa is an exceptional experience. The interior is tasteful yet decadent. Large windows and French glass doors flood the interior with Caribbean sunshine no matter the time of year. The main foyer, dining area, and kitchen open onto the tiled pool deck, which offers two shaded pavilions. Guests can unwind and soak in the views from the lounge chairs or enjoy evening drinks at the outdoor bar before throwing dinner on the poolside propane grill.

There are 5 bedrooms in total in Villa Blue Water. Two bedrooms offer king beds, another two offer queen beds, and the fifth offers twin beds (can be converted to king on request). Each suite comes furnished with a beautiful private bath, three of which feature sizable soaking tubs

LOCATION DETAILS

The entire island is only 22 miles wide from west to east, so you are never too far from anywhere on Grand Cayman. The oceanfront homes in Rum Point offer great reef-protected snorkeling. The beaches usually have plenty of white sand, but also can have spots of rocky “ironshore” with natural rock formations.

The closer you get to Rum Point, usually the sandier the beach as well as swimming. Either way, with the abundant marine life we have in the water, you will want to wear pool shoes or fins for foot protection. The prevailing trade winds from the east also make flying insects less of a nuisance—many of the homes in Rum Point don’t even need a screened porch.

The big draw to this area is the proximity to the Rum Point Club, a public beach club that offers a fantastic barefoot beach, many water sports, a restaurant bar and grill, a gift shop, and pick-up beach volleyball games. Also near Rum Point is the Kaibo Yacht Club restaurant, bar, and marina.

Lastly, we have 2 large resorts in the east end (Morritt's and The Reef) that offer manicured beaches as well as restaurants, a modern grocery store, liquor store, gift shops, a Subway sandwich shop, and a cafe/pastry shop. These two resorts also offer scuba, snorkel trips, jet skis, windsurfing, kiteboarding, oceanfront pools, and bar service.

General Grand Cayman Beach Notes:
All beaches in Grand Cayman are technically “public” since the Queen owns up to the high water mark and the shoreline quality behind your property may vary seasonally. Be advised that the beach or water entry behind your property may vary slightly from the images on our website because of the weather. The next-door beach is also always available for your use.

Ocean Debris & Sargassum Seaweed:
Beaches in Grand Cayman may also experience floating ocean debris and sargassum weed seasonally. Sargassum is a generally harmless floating seaweed that has increased in frequency in recent years. Although sargassum is an unsightly nuisance, it is largely seasonal in summer. Our owners do make efforts to remove heavy sargassum and will have the beach raked prior to your arrival. Should sargassum weed be extremely heavy behind your property, we will reach out to the owner for alternative solutions.
