Welcome to Les Jalousies, a beautiful 4-bedroom, beachfront villa located in the stunning and exclusive resort neighbourhood of Cayman Kai. Let this villa be your tropical sanctuary and your base from which to explore all the wonderful attractions on offer in the region. Guests staying at Les Jalousies can indulge in the privacy of the home which includes a gated driveway, lush tropical landscaping, and vacant lots on either side of the villa. Guests can relax and unwind in complete seclusion at this tropical sanctuary.

A wonderful on-site caretaker stays in the detached guest house near the gated entrance and provides baggage valet service, light housekeeping, and beach raking for our vacationing guests. The resident caretaker will meet and greet guests upon arrival for a tour of the villa so that you can start your vacation as soon as you arrive.

A contemporary, well-equipped chef's kitchen features top-quality appliances including a built-in Sub-Zero freezer, two Sub-Zero fridges, a range, multiple ovens, and two sinks...each with its own dishwasher. The marble island in the kitchen is enormous and a natural gathering place for your friends and family.

This villa features 4 comfortable and cosy rooms. The Master Bedroom is the largest and is the most private. This room is located in a separate wing from the other bedrooms. It boasts stunning sea views with two sets of French doors opening onto the back veranda, complete with tables and chairs overlooking the pool and the beach. This room has a large King size bed. It has a large en-suite bathroom, including a free-standing bath and a separate shower.

The grand piano in the villa will remain covered unless the guest requests it be unlocked for them to play and enjoy.

The lovely pool on the property is set into a custom wood deck and offers you and your guests a way to cool off and be refreshed during the hot summer months. Ceiling fans under the veranda roof also provide an additional breeze for guest comfort. Multiple hammocks and palm trees can be found in the backyard ensuring a wonderful place to relax and soak up the tropical vibes.

The property is conveniently located within a short drive to Rum Point Beach, guests are also a short 5-minute walk from The Kaibo Marina and Starfish Point.

BEDROOMS AND BATHROOMS:
BEDROOM 1: Master Suite - Occupying the entire west wing, furnished with a King bed, ensuite bathroom with double vanity, soaking tub, double-head rain shower, direct access to an oceanfront veranda and pool deck, unobstructed ocean views.
BEDROOM 2: Queen Suite - Queen bed, ensuite bath with double vanity and stand-alone shower, direct access to an oceanfront veranda and pool deck, ocean & dock views.
BEDROOM 3: Garden Twin Suite - 2 Twin beds (can be converted to a King upon request), ensuite bathroom with an outdoor tiled shower, direct access to a private balcony with ocean views.
BEDROOM 4: Media Den - Large sectional sofa can be converted into 2 single twin beds for children only; shares adjacent full bath with stand-alone shower.

VILLA’S NOTABLE FEATURES:
• A live-in caretaker resides on-site in a separate cottage and is available to provide housekeeping and laundry services for a nominal fee. The caretaker rakes the beach, keeping the shoreline clean, and provides guests with continuity while on-island as well as backup linens and soaps. If not needed, he will not be seen.
• 60-foot wide oceanfront veranda with ceiling fans, alfresco dining, and lounge seating.
• Outdoor fire pit and Adirondack chairs overlooking the ocean for cool evening sunsets in winter.
• Private dock with thatched cabana furnished with swing benches and table. Silver Thatch Water sports can collect guests off the dock for private snorkel and diving charters.

ACTIVITIES:
At nearby Rum Point, you can access the fantastic water sports facilities provided by Red Sail; at neighbouring Kaibo Yacht Club, you will find Sweet Spot Water sports, whose touring kayaks pass the villa every night on the way to experience the local bioluminescence, a unique phenomenon in a neighbouring bay. Many boat operators and fishermen can also pick you up directly from the villa’s dock. The Northside of the island offers most of Grand Cayman’s sites and activities, such as Stingray City, the Crystal Caves, the wild Mastic Trail, and the exquisite Botanic Garden – your stay can be as action-packed as you desire.

Alternatively, you can just unwind in the comfort of Les Jalousies and make full use of the hammocks to snooze or read a book, with only the Caribbean soundtrack of gentle waves and rustling palms to distract you.

BEACH NOTES:
The white sand beach behind Les Jalousies is pure, barefoot beach sand. One can easily walk the beach around to Starfish Point, as well as charter boat pick-up at your private dock. This quiet area faces south so in winter months when a cold front may bring winds from the north or east, the beach area and under the veranda tends to be quite calm.

Facing the sound, the ocean water behind Les Jalousies is clear and calm. There are no reefs here teeming with marine life, nor is the sea bottom perfect white sand. All beaches in Grand Cayman are technically open to the public. For a pure barefoot beach swimming experience, we recommend walking 5 minutes up the street to the Gardens of the Kai or head over to Rum Point (2-minute drive, 12-minute walk). Not only is the beach there swimmable the Rum Point Club also offers a bar, grill, lounge chaises, and a diverse water sports menu to keep you active.

All beaches in Grand Cayman are technically “public” since the Queen owns up to the high-water mark and the shoreline quality behind your property may vary seasonally. Be advised that the beach or water entry behind your property may vary slightly from the images on our website because of the weather.
