Set over three levels, the clean lines of this spacious villa home are offset by lush, mature gardens. Green lawns and tropical palms surround the property and offer a lovely counterpoint to the L-shaped overflow pool and extensive terraces on the ground level.

Large windows and doors that draw in the infinite blue of the sea and sky fill the property. The large, vaulted ceiling of the living room is an airy and restful space to drink in the scenery. The entire villa is a dream in white. Plush sofas, tiling, and paintwork make the space fresh and serene.

The large, fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, a central island, and stainless-steel appliances opens off the living room area. A large retractable glass door opens onto a covered outdoor dining area, a perfect place to enjoy delicious meals with the gentle Caribbean breezes blowing in off the water. The outdoor pool area with sun loungers is also accessed from this level.

The Villa’s five luxurious bedrooms are all ensuite and have widescreen TVs. The master suite is on the main level and has direct sundeck and pool area access. In addition, this suite has a huge open shower with rain showerheads. Bedroom two is on the upper level, accessed via a staircase, and has a private balcony, ensuite with double vanity, and a large open shower. The remaining three ensuite bedrooms are at ground level and have access to a shaded furnished terrace.

In addition to the kitchen’s cooking facilities, there’s a barbecue on the terrace, ideal for lazy lunches by the pool.

Villa Allegra is close to the pretty Caribbean village of Maho. There are restaurants, cafes, and bars nearby too. There’s duty-free shopping and casinos within an easy drive, and Princess Juliana airport is a five-minute transfer from the villa. The sublime Mullet Bay beach is a short drive from the villa.

The Dutch capital is Philipsburg and has a lot of history to explore along its quaint streets. Marigot is the capital of the French side of the island and has an entirely different vibe.
