La Salamandre

Welcome to our villa La Salamandre, our beautiful 6-bedroom villa located in the gated community of Terres Basses. The villa is overlooking the Simpson lagoon and is only a short distance from the beach at Baie Rouge.

The villa has a garden path to the villa, where you will find the splendid pool area and covered terraces. There is a gazebo that provides shade which is perfect on those very hot days. Guests like to have dinner al fresco with a wonderful barbeque and dining area on the terrace with a variety of lounging spots that is great for large groups. There is also an outdoor shower and fitness room as part of the terrace amenities.

The grand living room opens onto the terrace and has a beautiful blend of modern and traditional style furnishings throughout. The villa has a fully equipped kitchen to prepare all meals and we can even organise to bring a chef in to cook for everyone if you wish. Please note this is an additional cost. The kitchen offers a view on the pool and the lagoon.

The five bedrooms with King size beds open onto the terraces, the sixth bedroom have twin beds. All windows are fully screened. Each bedroom has a private bathroom with shower as well as a TV and DVD player which is great for families with young kids.

- Also please note that as showing on the calendar, Villa La Salamandre is going to get a new makeover during the period August 20th to Nov 15th 2023

Heated Pool Note:
The pool can and will be heated only in the Winter months from December 16th to April 15th every year.

The highest temperature is limited to 86 degrees Fahrenheit/30 Celcius. If guests have a specific temperature they prefer, please inform our concierge team prior to arrival, as it needs to be set by the maintenance team. Guests are not allowed to change pool temperature themselves.
