RockSea is a unique property built in three independent modules that communicate through walkways raised above the sand and that traverse through a garden of coconut palms, sea grape trees, and large beach boulders. They connect the communal living spaces with the three bedrooms and the outdoor pool and deck area. The minimalist style that dresses the property features contemporary furnishings, detailing, and artwork that pays homage to great rock legends.

An iridescent pool tiled in mosaic shimmers in the sun like the scales on a fish in light red, blue, and silver and is surrounded by a raised deck with poolside loungers, large parasols, and an outdoor shower; all situated to the rear of the house. It is a lovely outdoor area concealed from roving eyes, in which to spend some hours in the sun either doing laps or just relaxing while the kids play in the water.

A walkway leads to the central kitchen area and a wonderful rooftop viewing terrace furnished with parasols and giant Fatboy daybeds that overlooks the entire length of Baie Longue beach and the sea, all the way to the Hotel La Samanna at the far end and the coastline of Dutch St. Maarten beyond. The ideal spot to get the much desired Caribbean tan while the light sea breeze helps keep the heat away.

Underneath the terrace, the kitchen is completely open and faces the sea with Velvet Underground wall art and a modern mix of natural wood cabinets, sleek black countertops, and polished concrete. The space is fit to cater to every need the designated cook of the day might need to prepare the most scrumptious meals following traditional local cuisine recipes. To one side, and directly connected to the kitchen, is an outdoor covered dining area with a gas grill that is perfect for informal cookouts, and a guest bathroom can be found on the other side, which also houses an outdoor rain-head shower to wash off the remains of the salty water or just refresh after a stint in the hot sun.

When “siesta” time hits, and you would rather enjoy that relax time in a comfy bed instead of in the sun, or outdoors, RockSea villa has three very well-appointed bedrooms that will perfectly provide the ideal setting for such much-needed rest.

Along a walkway to the kitchen's right is the Master bedroom with its own deck area facing the sea and a private beach patch with a hammock. The “Bowie”, as this bedroom is known, is spacious with an unhindered view of the sea from the large glass sliding doors and the bed itself. For the comfort of its inhabitants, it has a walk-in closet and features a sleek and very masculine “obsidian” bathroom with a toilet and urinal and a large open shower. The Villa’s two other bedrooms can be found in the third building. They are situated on either side of the living room and are fronted by coconut palms, face the sea, and each has its own luxurious private bathroom. RockSea also has its own signature black towels with the iconic Rolling Stones tongue and lips emblem, which tie in the theme given to the décor throughout this unique beach home.

The living room is furnished with chic, modern white cane couches, a gigantic ceiling fan, and Rolling Stones wall art, making it a wonderful space in which to share group conversation, pre-dinner drinks or some casual chit-chat away from the hot midday sun.
