Welcome to Poderosa, a wonderfully appointed 7-bedroom villa commanding a fantastic view of the picturesque Tuscan countryside.

Recently restored to its former glory, this centuries-old property has been carefully renovated and given some modern flair to blend with its traditional origins. The exterior stonework and terracotta tiles that are so popular in the region are no exception here; Poderosa maintains much of its original character and blends perfectly with the Tuscan landscape. Like any self-respecting Italian property, an abundance of outdoor spaces to relax and revel in are at the disposal of the guests; several of these spaces are dedicated to the enjoyment of food, providing an authentic al fresco experience. The expansive stone sundeck that surrounds the swimming pool is lined with loungers, awaiting guests that wish to soak up the sun. The cool waters of the pool are the perfect remedy to keeping the heat at bay, however the shaded portico and gazebo also provide a reprieve from the sun, furnished comfortably and providing an awe-inspiring view of the Val d’Orcia.

Cotto floors, terracotta tiles, stout blond wood-beamed ceilings and shuttered windows keep Poderosa firmly in touch with its Italian roots, while enjoying some contemporary updates to its décor. Neutral tones are present in the colour palette of the entire house, the rugged exposed stonework contrasting with the smooth modern finishes. Bespoke furniture, lofty ceilings and wide windows give this sophisticated villa a bright and airy atmosphere indoors. Several lounge areas are to be found within the villa, including a spacious sunroom to recline in and enjoy the beautiful scenery outside, or sit and read a book from the vast array of shelves that stretch from floor to ceiling in the dining room. Two fireplaces, one in each of the lounges, make for a cosy evening next to a merrily crackling hearth. A formal dining room and gourmet kitchen for all your culinary requirements are ready and waiting to serve mouth-watering meals; alternatively, take the al fresco route and bring your plates outside to enjoy the close of day with a glass of wine, with the sunset over Val d’Orcia as your backdrop.

A fully equipped gym has been outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment, perfect for those who are interested in keeping up their regime, along with a wellness centre, complete with sauna and indoor heated swimming pool to take your relaxation to a level of bliss.
Each of the bedrooms in Villa Poderosa have been outfitted with luxurious beds and bedding, high quality linens that will ensure drifting off to sleep is an effortless task. Uncluttered and minimal in décor, they have been designed to allow guests to unwind the body and mind before sleep. Three of the bedrooms are equipped with their own sleek en-suite bathroom, whereas the remaining four share two equally suave full bathrooms with walk-in showers.
