Welcome to Villa Morea, a stunning 6-bedroom property residing in the heartland of Tuscany’s rugged green landscape.

Palatial in size and in style, Villa Morea stands as the epitome of Italian luxury; from its height, it overlooks olive groves centuries old, surrounded by the rugged terrain of the Tuscan landscape. Large, sprawling lawns, carefully manicured, surround the villa, populated with large mature hedgerows and trees, serving both as leafy shade from the hot sun, and providing a privacy to guests for the duration of their stay. An expansive terrace wraps around the house, with areas to recline in the sun or the shade, as well as a space to dine al fresco to the ambience of the Italian landscape. A large swimming pool and hot tub is situated a short stroll away from the villa itself, down a staircase and opening out onto by a beautifully paved stone terrace. Sun loungers sit at the edge of the swimming pool, facing out towards the fantastic view.

Inside, high-end furniture adds elegance to each room, with luxury at the forefront; the lounge has an array of seating options plied with plush cushions and throws to sink into and relax in. The couch and armchair frame the large glass-topped coffee table, facing towards the widescreen TV mounted to the wall, the perfect spot to watch a movie with family and friends, or sit and enjoy some well-earned downtime between the pages of book. The dining room hosts a large, long dining table with seating for twelve; overhead, a beautiful chandelier casts soft light around the room. Settle in front of the fireplace before dinner in the plush armchairs, perfect for casual conversation while waiting for the plates of sumptuous food to make their way to the dining table. Alternatively, have the setting sun over the Tuscan landscape be your backdrop to an unforgettable al fresco experience on the terrace. Retire after dinner to the billiards room, outfitted with a pool table and a bar to pour a digestif and enjoy a game or two to pass the hours into the night.

Blissful sleep awaits; the bedrooms of Villa Morea are outfitted with luxury beds and bedding to encourage the best night of sleep possible; high quality linens will make sinking into the sheets each night a joy. The main villa hosts four bedrooms, the cottage with the remaining two; all bedrooms in the main villa are equipped with en-suite bathrooms for the comfort of the guests, the cottage bedrooms share a sizeable bathroom between them. Two en-suites are also outfitted with Jacuzzi bathtubs as well as showers.

LOCATION DETAILS
Ideally situated close to many of Italy’s most frequented tourist hot spots, Villa Morea is within 20 minutes’ drive of Florence and Siena, with many medieval villages and prosperous towns lying in between.
An enclosed property on a private estate, complete privacy is afforded to guests. The property, while private and secluded, is a short distance from Tavernelle Val de Pesa, the closest town to the villa. With ample shops to frequent for necessities and requirements, restaurants and bars are also ready to serve authentic Italian cuisine, as guests explore what delights the Tuscan countryside has to offer.
For lovers of art and history, Tuscan countryside is steeped in history - Florence, the seat of the famous Medici family, lies to the north of the villa, and is the reputed heart of the Renaissance. The most populated city in Tuscany, Florence has a long history stretching back to Roman times, with architectural and artistic wonders on display in its many basilicas, churches, museums and castles.
Wine connoisseurs and enthusiasts will be pleased to learn that the villa lies within a rather large and famous wine-producing region of Italy, the Chianti region. Several wineries are to be found throughout, several to be found in Gaiole, a medieval village that served as an important trading post in eras gone by. Locally produced wines with a vast variety of flavours and tastes are waiting to be sampled and are sure to tickle the palate.
Further afield, the often overlooked but no less beautiful city of Pistoia is to the north west of Florence, and contains many more important historical landmarks, as well as an ample supply of shops, restaurants, bars and nightclubs to sample on your exploration into Italian culture.
