The medieval town of Siena is rich in history and charm. Despite being a popular destination for tourists, the city exudes a quiet and easy-going feeling. The absence of car traffic makes exploring its quaint streets an absolute dream, especially with children. One of the most notable features to visit is Piazza del Campo, the shell-shaped square is the focal point of the city and a great spot to capture some fun holiday snaps while indulging in a classic gelato. This square is also home to the iconic horse race, the Palio, which occurs on the 2nd of July and the 16th of August every summer.

The medieval walled city of Monteriggioni was built in the 13th century and is world-renowned for being one of the best-preserved ancient fortifications in Italy, with scholars, architects, archaeologists and tourists alike flocking to marvel at its splendour. For those looking to enjoy some of Tuscany's rich history and architecture a bit off the beaten path, San Gimignano is a must-see town famous for its breathtaking skyline. Within easy driving distance from here is Volterra, a similar small fortress city renowned for its alabaster artefacts.

Indoor, the social spaces include two living rooms and two dining rooms as well as a number of other available areas to offer your guests a sense of privacy without feeling cut off. The ground floor is exquisitely decorated with a mix of antique treasures and more current objects by famous designers. These are accompanied by 17th century still life paintings, contemporary wall art, bright panels made from Uzbek Ikat and furnished with rough country fabrics which are set off with rich velvets. One of the living room's walls has been covered with 18th-century boiserie, typical of a high-end Parisian hotel of the time. The kitchen is a professional uber-modern space full of stainless steel and is equipped with all the appliances required of even the most demanding cook. Upstairs includes a private gym area, complete with a pilates reformer, Technogym equipment, yoga mats and massage bed. A laundry room and private staff quarters complete this floor.

The annex offers a spacious living room with incredible views of the breathtaking landscape. It features an XXL screen, perfect for private screenings in the evenings you feel like staying in. There is also a small complete kitchen for guests use for the times they would like a little independence from the main house.
