Positano is a popular tourist destination for a reason. Take a stroll through the many streets of the town all merging together and some leading down to the beach at the base of the town.

Step into your charming villa and immediately gaze upon the stunning sea views before you. Enjoy watching the boats sail past and look down onto the town of Positano to your right.

The outdoor area of the villa is something worth noting. As well as boasting specular views of the Italian coast, your private terrace is furnished with several seating areas. From here you can watch the sunsets and relax with a glass of champagne in hand.

This villa offers 5 bedrooms all boasting comfortable queen beds. Some of the rooms enjoy wonderful views of the sea, from their own private balconies, while all enjoy the wonderful charm that is seen throughout the design and style of the villa. This simplistic but traditional style is perfect for those looking for a peaceful and authentic Italian vacation.

The villas low-key social spaces are arranged on the ground floor and include a dining room that seats comfortably 10 guests. Enjoy gourmet Italian food here and spend quality time with your friends and family. Adjacent to the dining space is a sitting area with a large, comfortable L-shaped sofa and a large screen smart TV. A fully equipped kitchen and a full bathroom complete the layout of this floor.

Carmana villa is just a 20-minute drive from the centre of town with its shops, restaurants, and the beach, one of the liveliest and most cosmopolitan of all.

Immerse yourself in local colours and scents, explore the magical Amalfi Coast by boat and swim in its crystal-clear waters, discover typical cuisine and wines, or just linger poolside at your villa restoring your body and soul. The villa’s main gate is reached via 90 steps and a 10-minute walk on a pedestrian path.

• The Italian government might require the payment of a Visitor’s Tax (approximately €1.50 – €5.00 per person, per day, depending on the location) which may be applied for the first seven days in the destination. This tax is payable locally, in Euro cash.

• Due to its location, the villa is not recommended to guests with walking difficulty

A winding scenic drive along the coastal road, known for its hairpin bends and spectacular views, takes visitors to Positano, Praiano, Amalfi and the spellbinding uphill town of Ravello, with its incomparable belvedere. Any of these popular resort towns along the coast are good bases for exploring the surrounding areas. Buses and ferries run frequently and are the most convenient way to reach other towns while avoiding what could be a challenging drive in the bustling summer traffic. Other excursion possibilities include a boat trip to the islands of Capri and Ischia, a visit to the vibrant cities of Napoli, Salerno, or the gracious Sorrento, or an exploration of Pompeii and Herculaneum - the fascinating ruins of ancient cities destroyed by the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in the 1st century A.D.

The Amalfi Coast offers an abundance of cafes, shops, art galleries and restaurants on its vertical terrain. Most beaches are small pebble inlets of land thus the best way to enjoy the sand and the turquoise water is to tour the area by boat (ask our concierge about it!) and let an expert local captain take you to his favorite spots or suggest the best seaside restaurants.
