Welcome to Villa Gioviale a lovely two-story property perched on the cliff overlooking the Amalfi coast and close to the picturesque town of Positano. The house is situated in the heart of aromatic terraced gardens overlooking the sea, perfect for sunbathing, entertaining guests or cocktails at sunset.

When entering the villa, you will notice the spacious living room which is airy and bright. It has a vaulted ceiling in the sitting room, is decorated with bright colors, and is furnished with soft sofas. There are large panoramic windows, a brick fireplace, and French doors leading to the terrace. There are two dining rooms, inspired by the Pompeian style with colorful walls of brightly painted faux-marble, large table seating, and doors that open onto a shaded terrace. The kitchen is fully equipped with all modern conveniences and a fitness corner equipped with a rowing machine, elliptical machine, and free weights complete this floor.

There is a covered area outside for al fresco dining and a large open terrace area with spectacular views of the ocean. This is ideal for spending lazy days sunbathing, sitting, and reading a good book while sipping an ice-cold beverage or more importantly entertaining family or friends in the evening with cocktails and canapés. Where better to celebrate life with the Mediterranean sun setting as a backdrop…. Exceptional!

Villa Gioviale has 5 bedrooms which can occupy 10 guests, 3 of these rooms are on the upper floor and are all ensuite with marble bathrooms and either a bathtub or shower. Two of the rooms have small private terraces. The fourth bedroom is located downstairs and is also ensuite and with a terrace and the 5th is on the top floor apartment has an ensuite bathroom with a shower.

Positano is a 2 km stroll from the house down a gradual pathway, there is also a private dock that can be accessed via steps from the terrace. So if you fancy a boat trip to town for a bite of lunch or some retail therapy it would be a wonderful way of getting there and back.

The Amalfi Coast is 50 km of breathtaking coastline apart from its sheer beauty and pristine water it has quaint and rustic towns and villages speckled along the coastline. These have some fantastic cafes and restaurants and shopping for all to enjoy. A visit here will be etched in your memory forever.

- Porter service – 1 piece/person, included on arrival (Sat, between 5 pm – 9 pm) and on departure (Sat, between 8 am – 10 am). To use this service please contact Keyholder at least 1 hr in advance. For extra luggage, or for arrivals outside of the above scheduled times, or on Sunday, the porter service is at client’s expense €15/piece
- Housekeeping service daily for 6 days per week (the staff has one day off/week)
- Daily change of bath towels
- Midweek change of bed linen (Wed)
- Beach towels are changed every three days
- Breakfast preparation service between 8 am -10 am (the staff has one day off/week), cost of ingredients extra
- Chef service for lunch and dinner preparation (except Sunday) – cost of ingredients extra; menu to be ordered 24 hours in advance; dinner ends at 10 pm

Notes
- Security deposit: €3,000 held at the agency
- Food Allowance: €1,000 to be paid locally, on arrival, in cash
- Due to its unique architecture, the villa is not child-friendly. Children under 12 can only be accommodated on request, and are subject to the owner’s approval at time of booking. In case of acceptance, the party shall come with their personal babysitter for the full stay. Children will be counted as fully paying guests. In case of the arrival of children of which the owner has not been informed, there will be a charge of €500/wk/child, plus babysitting charges
- From the main road the villa is reached by 190 steps.
- Kitchen and laundry appliances to be used only by the villa’s staff
- Pets NOT allowed
- Check-in: between 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm; Check-out: by 10:00 am
- All extra services must be paid locally, prior to departure, unless otherwise arranged

AMALFI-COAST VILLA NOTES
Due to limited transportation in outlying and rural areas, a rental car is essential for stays at countryside villas in Italy. We are more than happy to arrange a car for you during your stay, please just let us know at the time of booking.
Please note that Italy villas rent from Saturday to Saturday. Exceptions may be possible on a case-by-case basis and upon request.
The Italian government has implemented a Visitor’s Tax of €1.50 - €5.00 per person, per day which applies to all overnight stays for the first seven days in the destination. This tax is payable to the local property manager.
