Bendis

Bendis is an exceptional contemporary villa designed and built in the 1960s by a leading Italian architect. Set in the heart of one of the most attractive and extensive private estates of the Amalfi coast, Bendis offers a unique private retreat in an inspirational setting. The grounds are almost entirely given over to the cultivation of lemon trees and the citrus-laden trellises extend from the top of the headland right down to the coastline.

The timeless elegance of the highly designed modernist living room is enhanced by vaulted ceilings, glass walls and large panoramic windows. Here, three separate areas coexist the spacious. TV area with the generous L-shaped sofa, the lounge area, and the dining area with table and chairs, redefining the concept of luxury. Fully equipped kitchen, laundry and guest bathroom complete this floor.

A panoramic veranda with dining area is where you will spend most of your nights, while the house chef, in the near outdoor kitchen, will be preparing for you the dishes that represent the true essence of this area. Local fresh ingredients used for typical timeless recipes paired with local wine… here life feels perfect!

The private swimming pool excavated in the rocks, or the sea below reachable by a private path, are all yours to renew your mind, body and spirit. The property also features terraced gardens of lemon trees and the scent permeates the air.

Bendis is located in a favourite area and an only 10-minute drive from the town of Amalfi. Among the few larger villas on the Amalfi Coast, it is the ideal property for big groups. The park of the estate screens the villa making it very private so there is no better place to keep the world at bay. Please note that at Villa Bendis most rooms feature steps.

Our selected staff offers due professionalism in services, ensuring the warm personal touch that you can find in a private house. In addition to the Concierge service that guarantees assistance for any guests’ needs, each house has its own Chef, a Butler and a cleaning lady, in order to offer the best services. The staff is local and knows all the customs, habits and histories of the Amalfi Coast. They have been working with us for many years in a harmonious team, they are all collaborative and they always try to best satisfy with kindness all the needs of our guests.

Ground Floor: extensive veranda with sea view, large living room with dining area, guest bathroom with washbasin/WC, laundry/ironing room. Fully equipped kitchen with larder and dishwasher, large cooking range with indoor barbeque grill; open-air dining area with outside kitchen. There is also a communal gym.

Upper floor: queen bedroom, dressing room and bathroom with shower and tub
Middle Floor: queen bedroom with bathroom with tub and separate shower
Lower floor: Two queen and two twin bedrooms, each with en-suite bathroom with shower
Annex:
Independent queen bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower
All the bedrooms are unpretentious, yet very comfortable and all air-conditioned.
Garden house: near the swimming pool 1 double bedroom and 1 bathroom with shower. Air conditioning.
