Welcome to Lo Shah, a two bedroom, luxurious and extravagant villa, located 10 minutes from the centre of Amalfi and 20 minutes from Positano. This villa is the ideal place to explore the entirety of the Amalfi coast and all the gorgeous scenery. The entire villa faces out onto Grotta dello Smeraldo and Capo di Conca. You won’t have to leave the villa to get stunning views as they are right on your doorstep. Lo Shah was originally a lemon grove and has recently gone under renovations to turn it into the fabulous villa that it is today. Lo Shah was a landmark to the inhabitants of the village of Conca dei Marini. The architects wonderfully managed to maintain the original beauty and authenticity of the property.

Enter Lo Shah via the main entrance which opens onto the living and relaxation area. This area is spacious and bright, perfect for a gathering of your family and friends. This space transitions into the kitchen area. There is both a professional kitchen and a traditional Italian kitchen, which include all the necessary equipment and accessories needed for a spectacular feast. The living area of the villa is beautifully decorated in a contemporary yet traditional style, from the marble bathroom to the large antique table. The two styles merge perfectly together and flow seamlessly throughout the property.

The traditional kitchen has everything thing you need to make a classic Italian dish like pizza, with two large artisan ovens decorated with tiles. The professional kitchen is like something out of a restaurant, fully equipped with every utensil and accessories necessary for the best cooking experience you will ever have. There is also a large oven, a refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, microwave and a large worktop. There is a Nespresso machine in the kitchen, perfect for the morning coffees. Italians are known for their love of coffee, so it’s important to immerse yourself in the full Italian experience through the food and most importantly the coffee.

Two doors, one glass and one equipped with a mosquito net, lead outside where you can enjoy the spectacular views of the sea and of the entire estate. The Italian sunset is like nothing you’ve ever experienced. Also, outside, immediately adjacent to the entrance of the villa, is a large outdoor patio with a large golden stone barbecue, a sofa and other outdoor accessories. This is the perfect spot to relax in in the evening surrounded by your loved ones watching the sunset.

The property includes two luxurious suites, which are large and beautifully designed while still being incredibly comfortable. The first junior suite can be accessed from inside the villa via 8 steps or from the outside of the villa. The style is a mix of clean contemporary lines with a fusion of Italian flare. The styles blend seamlessly together. The mattress is a large double and is hand stitched cashmere, embellished with inserts of onyx. There is also a hot tub in the bedroom which is the latest generation of Rexa Design. The ceiling has wooden beams and the floor is oak parqueted. A small part of the wall and the bathroom is the original rock of the old building. The room has many amenities and comforts, making it so luxurious you won’t want to get out of bed. There is a fireplace, a large smart TV, a minibar an antique wooden chest and two 60s design armchairs.

The bathroom has a Zazzeri shower, Hatria ceramic toilet, both very contemporary and modern designs and furnishings. There is also a Carrara white water marble washbasin made by fine sculptors. This sink is like artwork in itself and adds another Italian flare to the style of the space. This bedroom has direct access to a terrace overlooking the bay of Capo Conca and La Torre Saracena.

The other double bedroom has access to the same terrace and to the same garden with a view of the Mediterranean sea. The bedroom similar to the first includes a Desireè design double bed and wonderful hand-stitched cashmere mattress. There is also a Rexa hydromassage design tub, a perfect and private place to relax in the evening after exploring the coast all day. The sink, also made by a fine sculptor, is white Carrara water marble as well. The floor is parquet and the ceiling is vaulted.

The outdoor living area is located on the Belvedere, a few meters from the main entrance of the villa. Boasting spectacular views of the Bay of Capo di Conca, Galli island and the Faraglioni, which you can admire from the loungers or the marble bistro table.

The origins of SHAH date back to 1899, as is written on a stone. Lo Shah was a lemon grove a landmark of the inhabitants of the small village of Conca dei Marini, the heart of the Amalfi Coast.

The ambitious restoration project of this ancient property has finally been finished. The job was difficult and complex at times as the area is difficult to work on. A complex combination of the rock foundation and also being so close to the sea. It is a design that has combined the architectural work, the typological and the formal characteristics of the area of the Mediterranean with a powerful and invasive nature that encloses the entire property for 15000 square meters. There was incredible attention to detail during this project, making it perfect for all guests to enjoy.
