Welcome to Villa Antigone, a 5-bedroom luxury villa secluded in the gently sloping hillside of Crete, Greece. This property is a modern and private seafront villa fitted with a crystallized infinity pool that offers the ultimate luxury Greek holiday experience. This property can accommodate up to ten guests and enhances the magnificent views of the surrounding sea and the Gorge. Villa Antigone is located between Chania and Rethimnon and it is only two minutes away from Kokkino Chorio. From the villa, you could visit some of the most beautiful beaches of Crete such as Balos, Elafonisi, and Akrotiri.

The area that surrounds this villa is lush with tropical vegetation and plants that bloom with a variety of color and sweet-smelling scents. Slip into the clear crisp waters in the infinity pool or take a refreshing morning swim in its cool embrace. Here you can soak in the most breathtaking views of the surrounding area. Indulge in the serene location as it is secluded in the countryside. Enjoy some tranquil outdoor dining as you heat up the barbeque and try out some new recipes in the kitchen. Sip on a tangy refreshing drink as you watch the sunset upon this magical land, and the night sky becomes laced in stars. There is also a private path leading to a beautiful creek offering complete privacy. As you arrive at Villa Antigone you will initially find yourself in the elegant main entrance. The interior design has a minimalistic character with several touches of modernity that add to the overall elegance of our villa. The open design living area combined with the fully equipped kitchen and the dining area. The room is very minimalistic and chic, adding a sense of sophistication. The pristine walls and matte black tiled floors are contrasting and bold and the large open windows allow a flooding of natural light and warmth into the room. The Kitchen is fitted with sleek white cabinets and a large island counter. The views look out onto the glistening ocean and the surrounding mountainous lands. The living area (can be closed as a bedroom and en-suite) is very spacious and comfortable with a large glass sliding door that blend the interior and exterior spaces together. The plush sofas sit around a high-resolution television and have a perfect view of the mirror like infinity swimming pool. The dining table can seat up to ten guests and has a staircase adjacent to it that leads you down into the lower level.

This level consists of the three-master bedroom, all with access to the private terrace and the immaculate views of the area. The main master bedroom looks out over the gorge and the creek. Enjoy the natural sunlight that enters each room generously, due to the large windows and allows the breeze to gently float through space.

If you wish to expand the property’s space, then there is also an independent attractive guesthouse by the bar area which has an en-suite bedroom fitted with a queen-sized bed and a quaint living room with two separate sofa beds. The third guesthouse which is by the parking area is wheelchair friendly and can accommodate two people comfortably.

LOCATION

Villa Antigone is based in the gently sloping hillside of Crete, Greece. This property can accommodate up to ten guests and enhances the magnificent views of the surrounding sea and the Gorge. Villa Antigone is located between Chania and Rethimnon and it is only two minutes away from Kokkino Chorio (1km). From the villa, you could visit some of the most beautiful beaches of Crete such as Balos, Elafonisi, and Akrotiri.

The villa is an approximate forty-five-minute drive from Chania Airport (35km). Heraklion Airport is based at a further distance of 130 km and the Port is 20km in total.

Kokkino Chorio is a small village situated in Apokoronas in Chania, Greece. This ideal location sits on the Drapano Cape overlooking the majestic Souda Bay. It is a very traditional Cretan village quaint churches that lace the area. Below Kokkino Chorio there are some small coves with sandy beaches. You can take a walk through the narrow streets of the village and find yourself in another era as it will enchant you with its traditional character. This village is renowned for its beautiful panoramic views of Souda Bay and the imposing views of the White Mountains.

You can stay in the comfort of your private villa if you wish as there is also beach access close by 100m away. If you want to explore some of the local beaches you can take a drive to Almirida beach (3.5km). This beach is in two segments that are separated by a rocky peninsula. The larger beach is a more popular area due to its facilities such as sun beds, sea sports activities, seafood cuisine restaurants, quaint cafes and shallow transparent waters. Koutalas beach (1.5km) is a quieter beach that is well preserved and close to the edge of Cape Drepano with interesting cave formations, like the Elephantsí Caveí.
