The villa itself expands over a large indoor and outdoor living space. The outdoor private terrace embeds a large infinity pool with a crystal clear blue embrace. Slip into the cool waters for a refreshing mornings swim and then lie out on the sun loungers to dry off under the suns warmth. Villa Kyma is one of the very few private properties to offer direct access to the sea over a secluded pathway from the garden, leading to the rocky coastline. If you wish to indulge in some secluded shady areas, then why not sit in the private outdoor seating area and look out over the bay of Chania and its glistening turquoise waters. You can dine outside in the covered dining area if you wish. This space seats up to eight guests and is the perfect spot to enjoy a home-cooked even meal after a day exploring the local areas. Here you can watch the evening sky turn to a warm pink to a deep midnight sky as the sun sets leaving the sky shimmer with stars.

The unique characteristic of this villa is fitted with very pristine open design living spaces. It has been designed with the use of natural, environmentally friendly materials, combining the traditional architecture with a more modern one, satisfying the highest of expectations. The main living area is very contemporary in its layout and is located on the ground floor through the luxurious entrance hall. It is fitted with large ceiling to floor windows, flooding the space with light and warmth and the quirky furnishings that take a very unusual twist. Look at the unique spiraled bookshelf that is laced on the wall. The plush sofa overlooks the Aegean Sea and it has direct access to the private terrace, furnished with sunbeds. The living area blends with the open designed kitchen that is fully equipped and ready for you to use. Its large pristine cabinets are very modern, and the adjacent rustic stone wall makes the space full of warm colors. There is a large island counter the seats two guests on the sleek barstools and the dining table sits in front of the area beside the large open windows. The dining table is quite large, seating up to ten guests. The property is fully equipped with high-quality audio systems and secure Wi-Fi throughout the building and outdoor areas.

LOCATION

Kyma is nestled on the ocean front, overlooking the bay of Chania, in Crete, Greece. This beachfront villa offers the ultimate private Greek island experience.

The villa is based 8km from Chania Airport (ten-fifteen-minute drive) and the Heraklion Airport is based further at 142 km in total. Souda Port has situated 16 km from Kyma and the capital, Chania is located 13 km from you. The shops and restaurants are very close by, the closest to you being within a 1.3 km proximity.

The tiny, secluded beach of Maherida is located 14km northeast of Chania and only a short 600m from your doorstep, simply a ten-minute stroll. The bay faces southwest and is almost always calm with blue crystal waters due to the tidal changes throughout the day. This quaint beach has sugar-fine white grains of sand and the turquoise water is shaped in the center of the bay. The coastline near the beach is a unique habitat for many wild animals.
