Welcome to Alma Rosa, a 4-bedroom beachfront villa that is located in the vibrant area of Riviera Maya in Mexico. Beachfront villa Alma Rosa is located on the prestigious Jade Beach. This private white sand beach offers you the backdrop of the crystallized blue waters as your backyard. Here you can walk along the shore as the sun rises in the morning and let the waves lap onto your toes. The Villa is fitted with comfortable sun loungers on the beach, terrace, and rooftop, so you can sunbathe and relax wherever you wish. When the tide is low you can walk along the shoreline and find some hidden treasures such as delicate shells. Breathe in this serene landscape as you explore the shallow waters with the kayaks the villa provides you with. Paddle out onto the water and enjoy the view of your villa. During the warmer months, you can delve into the fresh salty water for a crisp swim or go snorkeling to see if you can spot any exotic fish.

After a stroll along the beach in the mornings, you can walk back to the large pool terrace and dine alfresco. Here you can enjoy some delicious Mexican food prepared by your own professional chef. Sip on a hot cup of coffee as you think about what you want to do for the day. If you want to relax then lounge on the comfortable seating under the sun or read your favourite novel as you listen to the breeze rustle the palms and skim across your skin. The gardens and tropical plants that surround your villa add to the tranquil ambience. The vivacious greenery makes that place burst with vibrant colours. The large heated swimming pool is embedded in the heart of the terrace and is perfect to slip into after some sunbathing. The pool is a lap pool, so you can always stay fit during your holidays. In the evenings you can enjoy some homemade tropical drinks and tangy cocktails in the covered seating area. Watch as the sun sets over the glistening waters and the sky bursts into a firework of colours. As the evening draws to an end you can relax in the hammock before bed as you listen to the rhythmic waves flowing back and forth.

Villa Alma Rosa was designed for a French artist and her family and is a very upscale, spacious home. The interiors are lavish with vibrant Mexican colours, fine fabrics, and detailed artwork. The materials used to build this home are mainly natural stones and wood, which complement and contrast with the contemporary Zen-style villa. On entering Alma Rosa, you are welcomed by the mesmerizing blue hues of the Caribbean ocean that fill the rooms with incredible views. In the main living areas, you will the rooms are fitted with full-width sliding doors that open to the ocean. This large open-plan first floor is always bright and airy. The large doors blend the exterior terrace and interior living spaces seamlessly. The living area is fitted with large sofas laced with colourful cushions. Chess enthusiasts will love the side table fashioned into a chessboard with Mexican figurines depicting the chess pieces. The indoor dining table has seating for twelve guests in total. It can also be adjusted for smaller groups if desired. The gourmet kitchen comes fully equipped and ready for you to use. Here you can create some delicious Mexican-themed dishes for dinner. The kitchen offers you the space to enjoy your time cooking with a beautiful Brazilian granite counter and a central island with a breakfast bar. This bar has seating for six additional guests. The main living areas are all located on the first floor. You will also find a luxurious king-sized suite on this floor. This room offers incredible ocean views and an additional twin daybed for small children. The room is fitted with a large private bathroom and a standalone shower. The room offers sliding doors which lead you directly to a private terrace with hammocks. A half bathroom is located off the hallway.

Making your way up to the second floor of the villa on the open stairway, you will notice the exquisite waterfall features that then lead to a private studio. This room offers a plush sofa and a large flat-screen TV. From here are the three upstairs bedrooms all with king-sized beds and each offers a day bed and a private en-suite bathroom. All bedrooms are individually furnished with luxury linens and have wide balconies with seating to provide direct views of the Caribbean Ocean.

LOCATION

Alma Rosa is based on the beachfront in the vibrant area of Riviera Maya in Mexico. The villa is based five minutes south of Akumal and is specifically nestled on the prestigious Jade Beach. Jade Beach is located in the heart of the Riviera Maya.

Villa Alma Rosa is a short distance to the local village of Akumal. This town offers you more beaches with white sands, a coral reef and warm waters rich in marine life, including turtles. The village offers you a profusion of amenities including many restaurants, bars, boutiques, diving locations, fishing spots and even some relaxing spa services.

The Cancun International Airport is an approximate hour and fifteen minutes drive away from the villa (93km). If you want to experience some of the historic parts of Mexico you can also visit the ruins of Tulum, which is only thirty minutes by car (25km).

• Maximum occupancy is 12 adults
• An additional damage waiver fee of $150 USD per stay must be added to the booking total. The damage waiver fee includes accidental damages to the property and its items in excess of “normal wear and tear” during the guest's stay. If the damages exceed a very unlikely $1,000 USD, the corresponding amount can be claimed by the Supplier and will be charged to the credit card on file. The fee is not refundable after check-in.

IMPORTANT: The turtle nesting season in Akumal runs from May to September, and during this time, guests staying at Villa Alma Rosa in Akumal have the unique opportunity to witness the nesting and hatching of sea turtles right on their doorstep. The property has implemented a number of measures to ensure the safety of the turtles and their nests. These include:
• Providing education and information to guests about turtle conservation.
• Limiting human activity on the beach after sunset during nesting season.
• Working with local authorities to monitor and protect the nesting areas.
• Implementing sustainable practices to minimize the impact of the property on the environment.
What Can You Do?
• Avoid disturbing the nesting areas and keep a safe distance from the turtles.
• Turn off flash photography, as this can unsettle the turtles.
• Limit music volume; the vibration distresses the nesting ritual.
• Do not use any artificial lights on the beach at night, as this can disorient the hatchlings.
