Reef House at Tryall

Welcome to Reef House at the Tryall Club, a 4 bedroom oceanfront villa at the exclusive Tryall Club.

Reef House celebrates beach life with its casual, breezy feel and beautiful setting right on the oceanfront. The entrance features a footbridge over a koi pond, exuberant gardens and views of the turquoise blue water -- all of which spell immediate relaxation.

The reef is located on Country Club Drive. The championship Tryall Golf Course and the private Beach Club and restaurant are a short walk away. A golf cart ride up the hill takes you to the 18th century Georgian Great House. The Great House offers a restaurant, bar, boutique, market as well as world-class tennis courts, gym and massage centre.

Reef House is a one story, mid-century Jamaican beach house and guest cottage. The design highlights the natural beauty of the setting and embodies the concept of “outdoor living.” The house has been updated to accommodate modern-day necessities while keeping its original character. The main house is comprised of the master bedroom and two guest rooms. Each bedroom has ocean views and en suite baths.

The guest cottage is a very generous one bedroom with ocean views and an en suite bathroom.

Depending on personal preference, all bedrooms may be configured as one king or two twin beds. All bedrooms have individually controlled air conditioning.

The relaxed living room furnished in classic Caribbean beach style opens onto the cut stone terrace with sensational views of the Sea and circular swimming pool perched on the water’s edge. Walk down the steps for a plunge in the ocean. A hammock strung between the branches of the almond tree is a much-loved spot to read or nap. “Outdoor Living” is at its best when staying at Reef House.
Up to 12 guests can dine on the veranda and 10 in the gazebo.

On 2,200 acres, Tryall’s golf course is among the most beautiful in the world. Its 18 hillside and seaside fairways have been home to the Johnnie Walker, Mazda and other PGA championship events. The resident pro offers workshops and private lessons. The Tryall tennis club features nine Nova Cushion courts, some lit for night play, with world-class pro’s on call. All white attire required.

The beach is well planned for parents and children. Have lunch at the beach bar. Work out in the well-equipped gym and compete in the new Usain Bolt Games Room at the Great House (teens love it). Jog the marked trails. Snorkeling, kayaking, Hobie Cat and sunfish are complimentary. Glass bottom boats, charter fishing, a boat to the reef and any captained craft attract various fees. Enjoy the week’s events, including the Monday Night Manager’s Cocktail Party and the Wednesday and Friday night beach parties and buffets.

On the hill, enjoy the historic Great House for daily 4:00 tea and sweets. Shop at the convenient commissary and chic boutique, and meet for happy hour and snacks at the casual bar. Also at the Great House is the new Usain Bolt Games Room open all day and night for ping pong, pool, air hockey, foosball, shuffleboard, chess and checkers, board games, comfy reclining chairs and HDTV. And don’t miss the massive Tryall pool (ping pong table there too). The Tryall Club is thoughtfully designed to please toddlers, preteens, tweens, moms, dads and everyone from teens to octogenarians.
