Welcome to Lige a luxurious four-bedroom villa that is located on the coastal road of Sorrento, nestled between two buildings. This lovingly restored two-story residence, attached on both sides, has a grand past; in fact, it lays on the ruins of a Roman patrician villa, dating back to more than 20 centuries ago!
Positioned on a cliffy terrace along the coast, this delightful panoramic house boasts unobstructed stunning views of the Gulf of Naples, the majestic Mount Vesuvius, and the island of Ischia, and prides itself on its dreamy setting that is built around more than 3000 sq ft of luscious and furnished garden. The house also enjoys a privileged location that is within an easy stroll to the beach, restaurants, and the town’s historical center.
On the ground floor, there is a comfortable sitting area with a plush comfortable sofa and armchairs that welcome you upon entering the house and sets the atmosphere for a relaxed quality time. On one side of this room, a set of floating stairs leads to the lower level.
On the Lower Floor, there is a bright dining room with a table for up to 10 people, a large TV, and a cozy fireplace for warming up the atmosphere in the colder months. A fully equipped kitchen with direct access to the garden includes an induction cooktop and a breakfast bar.
For convenience, an additional full bathroom is also available next to the kitchen.
Lige offers spectacular sea views overlooking the Gulf of Naples. Unwind under a shade with your favorite book, or lounge by the private hexagonal 6-seat heated whirlpool while sipping fine regional wine. Enjoy delicious meals under the romantic pergola or spend lazy hours in this urban oasis of elegant idleness enjoying the dolce vita.
Lige is easily reachable from the street, without stairs. It is within walking distance of everything, you do not need a car to go into town. The neutral palette and the use of natural materials like wood, linen, stone, ceramic, and wrought iron give Lige a great sense of style and simple luxury. This welcoming property is perfect for those who want to spend quality time near the sea or anybody who enjoys relaxing in nature and appreciating good food!

LOCATION
The strategic location of Sorrento allows you to visit a plethora of interesting sites with short-haul and frequent connections. Naples, with its magnificent museums and marvelous churches, the ruins of the great Pompeii and Herculaneum (you will be amazed at how fascinated you may become if you visit the ruins with a good passionate guide – ask our concierge for assistance in booking one of them), Mount Vesuvius and the glitzy Capri, in addition of course to Positano, Amalfi and Ravello, the gems of the Amalfi Coast. All these must-see destinations are a short ride away.
And keep in mind: this area has the highest concentration of excellent restaurants in all of Italy.
