Welcome to Le Caprice, a modern 7-bedroom villa perched overlooking the Caribbean Sea in St Martin. The bedrooms are distributed between the main house, the pool area and the cottage, where the Master Bedroom is located. With direct and private beach access, this villa is great for families traveling together or a large group of friends. The villa is ideally located in the exclusive gated community of Les Terres Basses and is a minute’s drive from some of the other best beaches on the island. The villa accommodates up to 14 guests comfortably.

The villa is peacefully perched along the beach of Baie Rouge in Les Terres Basses. It features breathtaking, panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea and has its own private pathway down onto the shoreline. Surrounded by beautiful lush tropical gardens, the villa is a private oasis featuring high-end amenities and a location like no other.

This modern villa has recently been remodeled. The interiors are open-plan and very spacious, reflecting traditional French Caribbean architecture and a contemporary interior. The main living area overlooks some of the most amazing ocean views. The neutral tones and wooden hues throughout create a relaxed atmosphere. The room is flooded with light and kept at a refreshing temperature with ceiling fans and shutters. Lounge out on the plush sofas and watch your favorite film on the widescreen Samsung TV. You can dine inside along the casual dining table suitable for up to 10 guests, or you can dine alfresco under the covered dining gazebo along the terrace.

The kitchen is separate from the living area and features modern cabinetry with granite countertops, a breakfast bar with Tribu bar stools, and high-quality appliances including a Miele induction cooktop and two Liebherr refrigerators, and a separate wine cooler.

The terrace is where you will find yourself spending hours under the cloudless blue sky. The terrace provides a plethora of outdoor seating along the covered terrace. In the center of the terrace is the large private swimming pool which perfectly overlooks both the Caribbean Sea and the Simpson Bay Lagoon with Dutch side St. Maarten in the distance. The pool is lined with sun loungers, or you could retreat to the poolside gazebo with plush outdoor sofas. This is a great spot to enjoy the incredibly beautiful Caribbean sunsets. A second covered area equipped with a gas BBQ and wet bar provides alfresco dining and a beautiful sea view.

POOL AREA - 1 bedroom with Exterior Access:
Bedroom 5: independent entrance just below the pool terrace, king-size bedroom, air-conditioning, ceiling fans, TVs, Private en-suite bathroom, rain showers.

COTTAGE - 1 Master bedroom + 1 Standard bedroom with Exterior Access:
Bedroom 6 - Master Bedroom: Based in the separate cottage at ground level, King-sized bedroom, large private seafront terrace, Private hot tub, outside shower, swing seat, en-suite bathroom, double vanities, rain shower, separate his and her toilets and bidets, walk-in closet.
Bedroom 7:- Located next to the Master Bedroom in the cottage at ground level, with a king-size bedroom, air-conditioning, ceiling fans, TV, private en-suite bathroom, and rain shower.

LOCATION DETAILS
The Caribbean Island of St Martin is divided into two sides, the French and Dutch sides. Its natural features include large lagoons, white/golden sand beaches, and salt pans. The island has a vibrant tourist-friendly ambiance and nightlife. It offers its guest a profusion of shopping opportunities as well as the famous duty-free shops. The island is dotted with high-end luxury resorts and the most exceptional villas.

Le Caprice is located on the French side. It is specifically based on a gated community called Les Terres Basses, which has full-time security and a gated entrance. The villas here are very ultra-luxurious and there are three beaches that are all a short drive from the villas – Baie Rouge, Baie Longue, and Plum Bay (which has the best sunsets). It has guards at the gates of the community to get in and out. At night, the security guards also drive around the community to ensure that everything is peaceful. Long Bay and Plum Bay beaches are only minutes away.

There are no restaurants or shops within Les Terres Basses. The closest would be in Puerto Cupecoy Marina, where you will find a marina with watersport activities, restaurants, cafes, ice cream, shops, and a supermarket for groceries. This is less than a ten-minute drive. The area of Maho is also close by – a fifteen-minute drive will lead you to this vibrant and busy area. It has a profusion of shops and restaurants from Caribbean food to takeout, Lebanese, Thai, and much more. It has great nightlife and
