Welcome to Sam Lion Villa St Barts, a marvelous and modern 3-bedroom villa overlooking the Anse des Cayes and facing east on the island of St. Barths.

Sporting a beach-chic look that blends smoothly with the suave lines of a minimalist touch, Sam Lion’s unique approach to décor makes it stand out in the minds of guests. The bold contrast of the black and white prevalent in its furnishings and the casual and relaxing additions of wicker and warm wood tones work together to bridge the monochrome divide. This results in a clear, uncluttered and spacious feel to the rooms, while also instilling a peaceful and relaxing vibe throughout.

Built with barefoot luxury at its core, the villa’s lofty ceilings and floor-to-ceiling glass allow the vibrant colors of the Caribbean to shine through as a dynamic and ever-present feature. Almost every room enjoys a generous view of the horizon; none more so than the great room. An expansive retractable glass wall extends the already spacious room onto the terrace. The indoor and outdoor lounge lie close enough to one another to be able to combine forces and double the seating available, perfect for enjoying conversation or entertaining friends & family.

Take a breather from the sun within the villa with a cool drink in hand, or bask in the light on the pool deck – from either the couch or the array of sun loungers that line the pool edge. Swim in the cool waters of the pool to refresh after a spell of sunbathing, and emerge refreshed and rejuvenated. The dining area lies behind the lounge underneath a shady pergola, embodying the alfresco vibe while keeping everyone comfortable while enjoying the delicious flavors of Caribbean cuisine.

The calm and tranquil vibe of the villa follows suit in the bedrooms; containing only the essentials, the irresistibly soft sheets of the king-size beds are a joy to sink into at the end of each day, a restful sleep to be had each time. As well as luxurious beds and bedding, each of the three rooms is equipped with their own en-suite bathrooms for added privacy and comfort. All three rooms enjoy access to the terrace or the pool deck, with a beautiful morning view just beyond the glass.

The western side of St. Barth’s holds Gustavia, the capital of the island; a short drive from the villa, Gustavia hosts plenty of shops, bars, and restaurants, to allow guests have their fill of retail therapy, experience the nightlife, sample the local cuisine, and for those with a keen interest in the past life of the island, explore some of the distinctive history of St. Barth’s - a good place to begin would be Gustavia itself, where the influences of past ruling countries still remain today; Fort Karl, a former military outpost, was left by the Swedish to protect the island in the 1700s.
