A secluded enclave that consists of a beautiful, modern oceanfront 4-bedroom main villa and a 1-bedroom cottage on the same property, making it a wonderful abode for those seeking the real beach life experience in Virgin Gorda, BVIs. Just a few steps away, a white sandy portion of the beach is available to guests, and stunning views towards the azure waters of the sea will remind you that you just need to sit back and relax.

Raku is a light and airy villa with big details that bring in the nature that surrounds it, highlighted by the natural light that flows unencumbered through the big glass windows and doors. Intricate wooden ceilings, original wooden and glass furnishings, colorful materials, and some design pieces all tie in to give Raku its unique personality.

The villa’s fully fitted kitchen, furnished with a ThinkGlass countertop that acts as a breakfast bar and as a separator from the living room, is the ideal place for putting your cooking skills to practice but without missing out on the good company of family and friends while they chat away in the sitting area. A grand C-shaped natural colored mushy sofa is the centerpiece of the family room and is set on a highly polished wooden floor, making it a cozy place to gather with friends and family on a lazy summer afternoon away from the heat.

There are a couple of added features to this wonderful villa, like a dedicated media room with board games, X-box & Nintendo wii for times when dinner time is past, but sleep does not seem to come. No doubt young children, teenagers, and the young at heart will have a blast and make good use of this space. Another one of these features is the multipurpose office/small gym room that can cater to those workaholics that just cannot leave the office behind or for those who like to do a bit of cardio or weights before breakfast or hitting the swimming pool. There is no lack of choice at Raku Villa. Some would not give them a lot of thought, but we do like to highlight that this wonderful home also offers a separate laundry room with a washer, dryer, and an extra freezer, so you won’t go hungry during your stay!

The outdoors of Raku Villa are as stunning as the house itself. A varied array of terraces, balconies, and sitting areas provide the open-air setting that any guest would be looking for in a beach house vacation. There is an oversized live edge table on one of the balconies that can seat up to 14 guests and is the perfect spot for enjoying every meal, allowing for the fresh air to flow uninterrupted and keeping the heat away while enjoying the food. The outdoor kitchen fitted with a grill, fridge, and icemaker caters wonderfully to those evenings when an informal dinner is called for, and chilled wine and cocktails become a must!

The swimming pool and deck are also designed to fit the nature that surrounds them. Slick but made in materials that mesh incredibly well with the lush garden, sandy beach, rocky setup, and blue waters beyond.

When the time comes for some reinvigorating sleep after a full day of activity, the main house offers four beautiful and comfortable bedrooms to choose from, and they all have flat-screen TVs, cable & Apple TV & electronic room darkening blinds & haiku ceiling fans, air-conditioning.

The fifth bedroom is located in the cottage, which is ideal for families traveling with an elderly couple or grandparents, as it provides them with privacy in a fully catered accommodation, where they can stick to their own timetable whenever they are not joining the rest of the family.
