Getting To The Bvi
Part of the reason the BVI have remained a well kept secret is that there are no direct flights. Getting here involves an international flight usually to Antigua, San Juan in Porto Rico, St Martin or St Thomas and then a local connection to the largest island in the group, Tortola. If you are not staying in on of the Tortola villas, you will usually be picked up from your resorts water taxi from Trellis Bay, just a few minutes from the airport.
