Perched on a high promontory commanding views from Punta Ala to Castiglione della Pescaia, this medieval fortress, constructed in the mid-1500s, occupies a truly distinctive position in this esteemed locale.

Rising above the town stands sentinel over a secluded beach with convenient access and proximity to the marina.

Originally commissioned by the Medicis, it later served as the private seaside retreat for Italo Balbo, Libya's former aviation minister and governor in the 1930s.

Despite its ancient origins, the castle has been meticulously refurbished and modernized while preserving its rich historical legacy.

Castello de' Medici has undergone extensive restoration and continuous updates to ensure guests enjoy a luxurious and secluded getaway.

Accessible via a scenic pathway from the castle, guests can reach the unspoiled and remote beach adorned with smooth pebbles, offering enchanting views of the crystalline sea.

Ground Floor: Two rooms (one double bedroom and one room with two single beds, each with an en suite bathroom).

First Floor: One majestic double bedroom with a bath and access to a balcony boasting sweeping views; one master suite with sweeping views; adjacent private living space with a sofa bed, bathroom with a Jacuzzi, and sauna.

Tower: One double bedroom with a bathroom, sweeping views, and easy access to the terrace on the tower's summit.
