Villa ValMarc

Welcome to Villa ValMarc, our luxury 4-bedroom villa, located on Mahoe Bay with its perfect beach and spectacular coral reef. This very private villa has four air-conditioned bedrooms all with bath suites. The villa has two free-standing pavilions which are both elegantly decorated, indoor and outdoor living areas and a relaxing freeform pool.

Villa ValMarc is surrounded by thriving flower gardens and has a wonderful variety of fruit trees, including mango, papaya, banana, lemon, lime, orange and star fruit, all of which are delightful to enjoy with your evening beverage, while taking in the ocean view. Mahoe Bay Beach can be reached via a short 2-minute stroll down the path and here you will enjoy some of the best swimming and snorkelling Virgin Gorda has to offer.

The main pavilion features a wall of sliding glass to take advantage of the stunning views. The great room icludes a dining area, entertainment area and custom fully equipped kitchen for the serious chefs of your group. The main living space is flanked by two bedrooms suites and all rooms open to a covered patio which has outdoor dining space and the pool area.

The second pavilion, known as Wendy’s Watch, has two separate air-conditioned bedroom suites. The studio apartment on the upper level has a king bed, sitting area, kitchen and bathroom with an outdoor glass-block shower. The other bedroom/bath suite is located on the main level. Both suites have private patios facing the stunning Mahoe Bay.

Main Pavilion

The master bedroom is next to the swimming pool and terrace. Guests can walk out to a deck overlooking Mahoe Bay beach. This over-sized air-conditioned suite includes a king size bed, sitting area, walk-in closet and ensuite bathroom with an outdoor glass-block shower.

The second bedroom is located on the opposite side of the main pavilion for utmost privacy. This open air-conditioned bedroom has sliding doors leading to the terrace, a walk-in closet and bathroom. It has 2 twin beds with the option of a king size bed, the choice is yours.

Guest Pavilion

The upper level of the guest pavilion has a private studio apartment with beautiful views of Mahoe Bay. This air-conditioned suite is accessed via an external staircase. It features a king size bed, sitting area and bathroom with an outdoor glass-block shower. The unit also has a fully-functioning kitchen. There is also a lovely covered balcony which offers complete privacy from the rest of the villa.

The second bedroom in the guest pavilion is located on the main level surrounded by the lush gardens. It has 2 twin beds with the option of a king size bed. This air-conditioned bedroom/bath suite also has a walk-out to a covered patio facing Mahoe Bay.

The Baths

An unusual geologic formation on the south-western end of the island called The Baths is a must see. At the Baths, the beach shows evidence of the islands’ volcanic origins, as huge granite boulders lie in piles on the beach forming scenic grottos that are open to the sea. There are hiking trails throughout the formations that are great fun to venture to.

Spring Bay National Park

Spring Bay National Park, about a half a mile north of the Baths, has the same captivating landscape and beautiful beach as the Baths, but often with far fewer people. There is a moderately sized crescent bay fringed by shade trees and equipped with a few picnic tables. The swimming area is framed by large boulders while smaller pools are ideal for explorers. Make sure to look for the “crawl”, which is a magical, calm pool of water entirely surrounded by boulders.

North Sound

North Sound is the general term used to describe all the land and sea-based locations near Virgin Gorda’s northern tip. Leverick Bay houses two restaurants, a handful of shops and a hotel. This is also a great place to rent water sports gear.

Gun Creek faces the ferry dock that links Virgin Gorda with the islands and bays that circle North Sound. Here you will find a small grocery store and a few more bars. There are no roads past Gun Creek, so you must explore North Sound by boat. Biras Creek, Bitter End and several restaurants on other North Sound Islands provide free ferry service for guests wanting to explore. You can also rent a small boat and enjoy North Sound on your own.
