Perfect Location
I love Sand Castle Villa. The location is perfect as you are right on the beach so from your bedroom you can be in the sea within seconds. The pool area is a great spot to relax with family and friends and the water at Mahoe Bay is great for swimming and snorkelling.
Description
Welcome to our luxury five bedroom villa, Sand Castle, located on the beautiful Island of Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands. This stunning beachfront villa offers guests direct access to the white sandy Mahoe Bay beach. The views from Sand Castle are incredible, here guests can enjoy the crystal clear ocean and the Sir Francis Drake Channel.
Sand Castle includes a forty foot fresh water swimming pool surrounded by elegant tropical gardens. By the pool there is a sun terrace and verandah, which provides a shaded lounge and dining area including a gas grill, perfect for dining alfresco. Mahoe Bay offers guests excellent snorkelling and scuba diving on the two fringing reefs which keep the beach calm and protected for pleasant swimming.
This beautiful vacation rental villa features a spacious bright great room overlooking the pool and beach. It includes two living areas, one for reading or conversation with family and the other is perfect for entertainment. It includes books, games, a CD stereo system and satellite TV. Guests can either dine in the great room formal dining area or on the adjoining covered patio outside. There is a fully-equipped kitchen which features a center island wet bar that completes the great room, with a powder room nearby.
The king Master Suite is adjacent to the great room and the spacious outdoor Jacuzzi sits within the garden outside. On the opposite side of the Great Room is an open corridor with the wet bar and ice maker for convenient refreshments. The other pavilions are just steps away from each other, providing complete privacy and closeness. In the North Pavilion are a second and third king bed suites. The South Pavilion across the garden courtyard and fountain contains the fourth suite, with two double beds. Just beyond the fountain is the Garden Pavilion which has an upper-level suite that doubles as a study with desk and satellite TV.

We so enjoyed our stay at Sandcastle.
Mahoe Bay on Virgin Gorda is hard to beat. Heather was a wonderful host, handling our every need with pleasure. Especially helpful was her pickup and delivery of luggage to our house from the terminal and from our house to the terminal. We needed the transport. A helpful note for the homeowners is the need for air conditioning in the living space, or at least new fans (identical to the ones in the kitchen and over the dining table) placed over the two seating areas in the living space. It was too warm to sit there anytime of the day or night, and especially if the oven was in use in the kitchen. We bought a fan ourselves and additional one was found by Heather which made the space barely comfortable. If not AC, definitely the fan replacement is needed. The rest of the house was lovely and comfortable. Bedding and appointments were great. The beach chairs were exceptional. The kitchen was so well stocked with top of the line cooking and serving items; we really appreciated the kitchen. We are booking with Exceptional Villas again for our beach trip in 2025; this time in Virgin Gorda. Thank you for your helpful service.
