NOTE: The magnificent Nora Hazel House is part of a two-villa development within Nora Hazel Point. The magnificent four-bedroomed Osprey House can be reached along a short, paved pathway. Both properties enjoy exclusive privacy from one another, but if you are looking for the perfect destination for a large group vacation, both properties can be rented simultaneously, providing luxurious accommodation for up to 22 guests.

Nora Hazel House is an exclusive Caribbean rental on the island of Tortola. This island is famous for its sublime beaches and the beauty of its landscape. White sandy beaches, fringed by palm trees and beautiful sub-tropical temperatures that stay in the 75deg – 85deg category year-round, ensure the best conditions for guests who like plenty of outdoor living.

The nearest airport to Nora Hazel House is Terrance B Lettsome International Airport, known locally as Beef Island Airport. This international hub is the gateway to the Virgin Islands and is a mere 15-minute drive from your exclusive hideaway.

The views from Nora Hazel Point take in the magnificent Sir Francis Drake Channel. Pretty green hills unfold along this coastline, forming a stunning backdrop against the vast blue sea.

As you unwind within the large grounds of Nora Hazel House, you will be constantly entertained by the movement of sailing boats around the coastline and the changing colors of the sea from dawn until dusk.

If you use a rental car, you can drive the length of Tortola. Ridge Road is the famous route to take to get some unforgettable photographs. It might take you a couple of hours – or longer – if you choose to go for a swim, a nice lunch, or do some shopping. Tortola is 12 miles long and three miles wide, ideal for exploration.

If you long for a little urban distraction, make a trip to Road Town, the capital of the British Virgin Islands. The drive is about 15 minutes. You will enjoy the marina, breezing through local craft shops, taking in some of the history of this British outpost. This town comes to life at nighttime with fun bars and live music. Some of the younger members of your party might enjoy a late night out in this Town.

But let’s not forget the wide-open sea. The British Virgin Islands are laid out like pearls on a string around Tortola. You can charter a skippered boat to investigate some of the smaller islands on your horizon. As an alternative, scheduled ferries crisscross the channels, and you can plan a day around an epic lunch and swim in the Virgin Gorda baths.

British Virgin Islands’ brand of reserve means there’s no nude sunbathing on the beaches; swimsuits must be covered up if visitors enter towns and villages. Shorts and flip-flops work at most beachfront restaurants, but if the eatery is high-end, you might be expected to wear long trousers and a collared shirt for dinner.
