The Villa is set over a few levels with light and bright living accommodations in a two-story, airy house at the highest level. The large outdoor infinity pool, terrace, and bar are down a few steps on the lower level. The house also has a gym and yoga pavilion that enjoy spectacular views. A workout never felt so good.

Each day is a celebration of outdoor living with wide terraces, shaded and open spaces, and an amazing summer kitchen where the freshest foods can be prepared to be enjoyed alfresco. A group or family will enjoy casting off their shoes and the cares of modern life as they imbibe the sea breezes, lounge, and play in a setting best described as heaven on earth!

The interiors of this exceptional property are predominantly pure white, with small, colorful accents that enhance the tropical theme. Friendship House has a large open-plan living room and kitchen that cleverly opens onto an outside dining and lounging space. A short flight of steps takes you from the living area to the beautiful pool and terrace. This level has a gorgeous pool house, sundeck, summer kitchen, bar, and another dining space.

A private path weaves from this terrace to a stretch of idyllic beach. This short stroll to the ambient Caribbean waters is one of the great daily pleasures of life at Friendship House.

The Villa's five air-conditioned bedrooms are comfortable with the finest bed linens, blackout curtains, and supporting technology. There are three Italian-tiled Lefroy Brooks bathrooms for guests to share.

LOCATION:
The exquisite island of Bequia is part of the St Vincent and the Grenadines archipelago. This stunning Caribbean island is a mere seven square miles and has one of the smallest populations per square mile of any island.

Friendship House embraces the best of both worlds. There's a wonderful sense of privacy as you unwind on your hillside location, yet you are within a short stroll of some of the best facets of Bequian life. This island has a relaxed community feel but a playful element with fun bars, great dining, and a welcoming vibe.

Under blue skies, you can stroll to some of the most spectacular Caribbean beaches. The nearest to Friendship House is Friendship Bay. The waters from this beach are shallow, tranquil, and crystal clear. A fisherman may occasionally bring his catch ashore here, but quite often, it's just you and the sea. A short stroll along this beach will take you to the Bequia Beach Hotel. This wonderful venue offers divine candlelit dining and sumptuous cocktails.

Princess Margaret Beach is truly special. There are terrific views of Admiralty Bay and a chance to drop into Jack's Beach Bar, one of the legendary destinations in the region. Listen to some of the best fishing tales between rum punches and delicious grilled fish.

Belmont Beach is another gorgeous stretch of sand. It's also home to the Bequia Plantation Hotel, perfect for fresh wood-fired pizza after a swim.

From a hillside view, the famous Fernandos is the ultimate destination for callaloo soup or grilled barracuda. You'll need to book ahead. The setting above Lower Bay is unforgettable.

Beach bars don't get much better than Keegans. They have a Saturday night barbecue mingle that's a great place to hang out and meet other lucky Bequia visitors.

Bequia Music Fest - Late January This four-day event is hosted in mid-January and includes international, regional, and local artists who come together for a fun festival.

Bequia Easter Regatta: For over 35 years, the island's clear waters have hosted competitive yacht racing. If you like boats, you will love this event!

Vincy Mus (St. Vincent Carnival Bequia Carnival - Throughout June: A month of Caribbean street parties, amazing food, music and dancing. Join the revelry.

New Years Eve Fireworks Festival: Bequia’s harborside display of fireworks is world-famous. Build this experience into your vacation for an unforgettable New Year's Eve.

• LIAT touches down in St Vincent, and you can hop on a ferry to complete the journey to Bequia.
