Welcome to Toucan Hill, an exceptional 4 bedroom villa with possibly the best views from any villa in the whole of Mustique and the Caribbean. Perched on the very highest point of Mustique, this Moroccan style palace has the most incredible 360-degree views imaginable of both the Caribbean Sea and the other Grenadine islands. Comparable to the views is the service which is really exceptional. Patricia the villa manager is completely passionate about service which is one of the reasons why guest return year after year to this wonderful property.

Toucan Hill is like a glamorous and romantic Moorish fantasy. It has beautiful mosaic-tiled fountains, elegantly detailed colonnades and jewelled lanterns. The Villa offers guests unsurpassed privacy and tranquillity among magical surroundings and splendid gardens.

There are four beautiful and very distinctive bedrooms each with en-suite bathrooms with lavish baths. They each have their own names - Sultan, Pasha, Toucan and Palm. There is a fifth master bedroom with private plunge pool available at an extra cost.

Toucan Hill is set in over 7 acres of gardens. They are stunning and full of beautiful tropical flowers and fruit trees. Almost all the fruit served in the villa come from the gardens – Lemons, oranges, coconuts, bananas, plum rose and papayas.

Dining at Toucan Hill is a sheer pleasure. You can choose to have dinner and cocktails in a different part of the villa every night. The dining pavilion which seats 12 is stunning especially at night time when the candlelight transforms it into a magical and romantic haven.

Holidays in Toucan Hill are like a dream come true. Patricia, The Villa Manager will meet you at the airport with a chilled bottle of water after your day of travelling. Once your luggage is collected, it's a short and exciting drive up to the highest point in Mustique. Your luxury villa awaits you.

An overwhelming feeling of sheer amazement comes over you as you take in the spectacular views. The butler will serve refreshing island drinks. One of the house specialities is a Posh Touc; A wonderful mixture of fresh passion fruit juice and champagne. As well as some delicious canapés, by the infinity pool that overlooks the sea. Picture yourself in the pool sipping on your rum punch, enjoying the Grenadine sunset.

STAFF: The team of six, led by Patricia, the Villa Manager and Jamal the Butler, will look after you’re every need and will help make this your home from home. From Moroccan Banquets, sunset cocktails, picnics on the beach, swimming with turtles, candlelit dinners in the gazebo, and quiet afternoons reading a book you will be completely spoilt at Toucan Hill.

The Villa Manager, Patricia Medford, will ensure that your stay is carefree and enjoyable. She has lived in Mustique for 12 years and is originally from New York. Over the past 25 years, she has been in the fashion, wedding and hospitality industries, and her friendly nature brings a charm and presence that is welcoming and calming. She can arrange any activities for you, which could include a relaxing massage, an active day trip to a local island, swimming, tennis, horseback riding, snorkelling --- or planning a cocktail party or beach picnic. With a dedicated staff of seven, your time at Toucan Hill will be a magical and memorable experience.

Our Butler, Jamal, will attentively look after you during your stay. His thoughtful and pleasant nature will make your holiday relaxing and carefree. His cheerful smile will brighten your day as he serves you and your party delicious meals and cocktails with style and charm.

Fornesta Hazell has been Chef at Toucan Hill since its opening in 2004. She specialises in both Caribbean and international cuisine. Fornesta’s recipes are also featured in the publication “A Taste of Mustique” by Kevin Snook and Elizabeth Penniman (foreword by Mick Jagger). There is an additional fifth Master bedroom in Toucan Hill that may be rented at an additional cost. It is absolutely beautiful, has incredible views to both the front and side and features a stunning gold leaf King-sized bed, private terrace and its own plunge pool. The marble bathroom is also beautiful and features a hand-cut onyx stone floor.

THE GARDEN

All of the plants and flowers used in the gardens are native to the Caribbean. Many of the trees and plants were preserved during construction of the villa. These include mature gum trees and established white cedars, which now enhance the grounds, act as a habitat for birds and butterflies, and add to the overall ambience of Toucan Hill. Almost all the fruit served in the villa is grown in the gardens including Lemons, oranges, coconuts, bananas, plum rose and papayas.
