Serpentaire Cottage is located on the 2,500 acres estate of Domaine des Etangs. The 700-year-old Chateau at the center of the Domaine looks like it stepped out of a fairytale. The Domaine has incredible amenities, including wildernesses for hiking and biking, beautiful gardens, landscaping with organic vegetables and herbs, superb wellness and spa services, tennis, and delicious dining. There’s so much to see and do within the estate that guests normally stay and explore every corner of this picturesque place.

Serpentaire Cottage can comfortably accommodate six guests and is the base for a one-of-a-kind travel experience. The property would ideally suit a family or group of friends. It could also be perfect for couples searching for a romantic and private honeymoon. You will love the extent of services that you can access. Active bunnies will adore sports, games, and adventures in nature. A guest searching for restful contemplation can visit the thermal baths, indulging in holistic spa treatments and meditation by the pool.

Dyades restaurant or Monade (the private dining room within the Chateau) uses the best organic produce picked fresh daily from the Chateau’s gardens. If you like to keep it close to home, the resident chefs can prepare a picnic or dinner that you can enjoy in your garden overlooking the pond. Light the fire pit and relax with some delicious wine. Bliss!

The Cottage is set over two levels. Natural stone, light-filled rooms, and natural finishes meld effortlessly with modern touches. The furnishings are luxurious and create a cozy vibe.

The wide glass windows and doors invite rural views; you will love watching the countryside's colors change throughout the day. One bedroom is at ground level and has a large ensuite bathroom. Upstairs there are two further bedrooms with spacious bathrooms. The raw stone walls complement the sumptuous furnishings. Everything feels very unspoiled and authentic.

A short bike or electric car journey will take you to the Chateau, the Mill House (Spa), and Greenhouse (Gym). In addition, there are fabulous indoor and outdoor pools, perfect for swimming and sunbathing.

Domaine des Etangs has a long list of wonderful amenities and services. There’s a great gym located memorably in a greenhouse. The estate farm can be visited, and guests can meet the famous Limousin cattle – gentle giants. Travel around the estate on horseback or by bike. There are lazy trails, too, for walking that will take guests through forests and across hills. Younger members of your group can join the kid’s club, Camp Auberge, where dress-up, nature walks, and supervised games will keep your loved ones busy while they make new friends.

And if your traveling companions are little tots, we offer babysitting services to allow you time to avail yourself of some divine spa services.
