Pegase Cottage is located within the 2,500 acres estate of Domaine des Etangs. The Domaine has many vacation properties dotted around the Estate, with the 700-year-old Chateau as the central point. The Chateau has all the magical qualities of a fairytale, and it’s a joy to cycle there or hop in one of the electric cars to explore the grounds and experience some of the incredible amenities that you can access as a guest.

Pegase Cottage can comfortably accommodate ten guests and delivers a one-of-a-kind vacation experience. Lucky guests can tap into a world of rejuvenation, play, luxury pampering, and adventure without ever leaving the environs of the Domaine.

The Cottage would suit two families who like to travel together or couples with different relaxation needs. The active guests will delight in the miles of bike trails that weave through green fields and forests. A morning run along deserted paths, connecting with nature, is blissful. Horseback riding, rowing, tennis, and outdoor chess will keep busy guests very happy.

The guest searching for rejuvenation can indulge in the holistic spa treatments at the Wellness Center in the old Mill. In addition, there’s an amazing thermal suite where guests can detox.

The Domaine has an impressive Fitness Center located in a Greenhouse and two wonderful swimming pools – one indoor and one outdoor. A daily swim and sunbathing by the pool, enjoying the beautiful views, is memorable.

Young guests can join Camp Auberge, where dress-up, games, and adventure are supervised by Domaine staff. This restaurant has beautiful indoor and outdoor seating and a diverse menu that captures the best of local produce. Most vegetables and herbs are grown in the Chateau’s spiral gardens.

Prepared meals at your Cottage or a box of produce dropped to your door are further services that can enhance your stay and make it even more pleasurable.

Taking your dining experience outdoors can be a lot of fun too. Ask the chefs to create a delicious picnic for you and your group, and then find that blissful space within the Domaine for the ultimate al fresco dining. It’s events like this that create cherished memories for everyone.

Pegase Cottage is set over two levels. Natural stone walls, complemented with neutral finishes, blend seamlessly with modern touches. The spacious interiors are soothing and cozy.

The Ground Floor has the kitchen and living rooms, plus three large bedrooms with separate ensuite bathrooms. Upstairs are two further bedrooms with spacious bathrooms and two additional living room spaces. The unfinished stone walls are beautiful, and everything feels authentic and unspoiled.

Navigating the Domaine can be done by bike or by electric car. A short journey will get you to the Chateau, Mill, and Greenhouse, where most indoor facilities are situated. The Chateau also has two beautiful indoor and outdoor pools that guests can enjoy.

Domaine des Etangs is 2.75 hours from Paris (Orly/Limoges). 2.5 hours from London (Stansted/Limoges). Limoges Airport is 45 minutes by car to Domaine des Etangs. The distance between Charente and Limousin is about 40 minutes by car.
