Peep’s Cottage has an attractive kitchen overlooking the pool terrace with all the necessary equipment to prepare delicious feasts. There is a lovely indoor space for dining, but you will want to migrate to the outdoor dining table to embrace the incredible views.

The terrace has comfortable sun loungers and easy chairs, ideal for soaking up some sun and endless fresh air. Peeps Cottage is air-conditioned with ceiling fans to keep the interior cool.

A TV room with comfy sofas separate from the main living room allows the group more privacy and space.

There are numerous activities to keep adults and kids entertained while in Exuma. Water babies love swimming and snorkeling. The ease of access to the sea is one of the most desirable features of a stay at Peep's Cottage. If you enjoy Stand Up Paddleboarding or kayaking, you can use the equipment that's at the Villa.

You have access to the marina, so if you choose to charter a boat while on the island, you can moor it there. Some of the prettiest beaches in the Caribbean are within a short distance of your Villa. Coco Plum is on Great Exuma, as is Forbes Hill Beach. Crossing the bridge linking Great and Little Exuma, you can visit Pelican Beach, a long stretch of white sand and limitless turquoise horizons.

The Bahamas are one of the best places in the Caribbean to visit to enjoy the natural world. Being escorted by a pod of lively dolphins is not unusual when you are on the water. The reef system is one of the most interesting in the region, and a snorkeling expedition will show you tropical fish, turtles, and other marine life.

For something a little unusual, you can visit the swimming pigs of Exuma, who have sole occupancy of an island just beyond Staniel Cay. If you visit these captivating critters, stop at Staniel Cay Yacht Club for refreshments. This Club is legendary in the region, and you'll find yachtsmen of all caliber rubbing shoulders.

If you enjoy fishing, you can do some simple line fishing off the grounds of Peep's Cottage. For bigger game fishing, charter a skippered vessel and get out into deeper waters. A boat is one of the best accessories for visiting Exuma, as you can explore many uninhabited cays around the region. Take a picnic and your snorkel and live the life of a 21st-century Robinson Crusoe.

There are lots of great dining options around Exuma. Caribbean-inspired dishes, traditional Bahamian fare, and modern cuisine are all influenced by the amazing seafood you can source locally.

If you visit Peep's Cottage during Christmas, you will want to check out Junkanoo Carnival, which takes place on 26 December. The locals embrace the festival's spirit and create the most dazzling costumes. Expect parades through George Town. It's party central, with music, street food, and lots of fun.

There are scheduled flights from US and Canada into Exuma International Airport. International travelers can connect via the Bahamas' capital, Nassau.
