Dragon Cottage and the fabulous 700-year-old Chateau and grounds are home to wild landscapes, manicured areas, organic gardens, wonderful wellness, fun activities, and divine dining. The Chateau looks like it stepped out of a fairytale and is a beautiful and magical place to enjoy dining and relaxation.

Your vacation is a one-of-a-kind experience whether you are planning a family vacation or an unforgettable wedding or event. There’s so much to take in. An itinerary that combines sports, games, and adventures in nature is thrilling. A day at the thermal baths, indulging in holistic spa treatments, and dozing by the pool are rejuvenating.

Dragon Cottage has a picturesque setting overlooking the property’s large pond. Each morning you and your fellow guests can step out and greet the day, dining al fresco in the fresh air. Life is very much indoor/outdoor at the Cottage, and kids will love the freedom of playing in the garden.

The Cottage, comfortably accommodating ten guests, is set over two levels. Level one has a beautiful entry with a water feature. Elsewhere on this level are the living, kitchen, and dining spaces. Three bedrooms with glass walls also draw in fabulous country views. Upstairs are two further bedrooms with living spaces and bathrooms. The raw stone walls complement the sumptuous furnishings. Everything feels very organic and natural.

Dragon Cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, so in-house catering is easy. You can arrange for a chef to prepare dinner for a special occasion. Alternatively, why not have all the ingredients you need to be delivered to you at Dragon Cottage, and you can don the mantle of the house chef yourself?

Your garden space has a dining table that will comfortably seat ten guests. There’s a lovely firepit too.

A short bike ride or journey by the Domaine electric cars will bring you to the Chateau, where sublime dining, wellness, a library, and a games room are available to Dragon guests.

The Domaine has an indoor and outdoor pool, perfect for swimming and sunbathing. The Mill House is home to the Spa where a wide range of holistic therapies can be enjoyed.

Elsewhere within the Domaine is a fully working farm with gorgeous Limousin cattle. The Chateau has an organic garden where the vegetables and herbs that inform the menus are grown and harvested daily.

There’s tennis, horseback riding, fishing, and bike trails to enjoy. Kids can join Camp Auberge and be entertained by staff who plan games and adventures. It can be easily arranged if you need babysitting services to allow you time to avail yourself of some divine spa services.

The Chateau is home to the wonderful Dyades restaurant, where guests can enjoy dishes created from locally grown produce. As well as structured dining, the resident chefs can assemble a fabulous picnic for you to take into the wild or simply enjoy in your garden.

Dragon Cottage is on the grounds of Domaine des Etangs in the heart of France’s Limousin Region. This area of France is famous for green rolling hills and wide-open spaces.

Domaine des Etangs is 2.75 hours from Paris (Orly/Limoges). 2.5 hours from London (Stansted/Limoges). Limoges Airport is 45 minutes by car to Domaine des Etangs. The distance to Charente and Limousin is about 40 minutes by car.
