Beacon Hill Estate has an interesting history. It was once home to Regine, the Queen of Nightclubs who brought the discotheque concept to the world. But be assured, the vibe at Beacon Hill is a world away from the artificiality and intensity of the clubbing scene.

The Estate commands an unimpeded view across the northwest bay of Harbour Island, where sunsets are the daily floor show that you and your guests will enjoy. The property enjoys a wonderful sense of seclusion and privacy, yet you are only a four-minute golf cart journey from Dunmore's town center, where you can shop, dine, stop for a drink, and chat with locals.

The Beacon Hill Estate has a cute moat at its entrance, and you and your guests will cross a bridge over a fish-filled stream. The gardens are filled with colorful and sweetly scented shrubs, adding another layer of sensual pleasure to the setting. When you step onto your terrace, a wide stretch of turquoise water is the first immediate impression.
The entire Estate has been created to capture all the stunning aspects of its natural setting. Wide open spaces allow the vast skies and distant horizons to become a part of each day.

The architectural brilliance of Beacon Hill Estate brings outdoor and indoor living together effortlessly. Barefoot breakfasts on the terrace, early morning swims in your pool or the sea, lounging in the sun or shade, leisurely dining by candlelight, one long celebration of life in this graceful island retreat.

The Beacon Hill Estate comprises five buildings. The air-conditioned Main House covers an area of about 5,000 square feet. Its main feature is an open-plan living space with doors that open on the east and west walls creating a fabulously fresh, open, airy feel.

The sensitive recent renovation of the property took three years. Local, skilled artisans sourced original materials to bring the interior and exterior finishes of the property up to a very high standard. Mahogany, marble, natural stone, and granite unite with a modern lighting concept to create a romantic and relaxing ambiance.

The kitchen has all the necessary appliances and is a focal point for casual dining. The Main House is home to the master bedroom suite, with a large bedroom space, seating area, and a large spa bathroom finished in floor-to-ceiling marble. There are two further bedrooms with ensuites in the Main House.

The partly screened veranda skirts the house and is a cool choice for outdoor shaded relaxation. The Pool House overlooks the gardens and is situated south of the property. It has a prime location with views across the heated and cooled Pool and is a private place to decompress, dip and sunbathe by day. The pool area is beautifully illuminated at night and idyllic for a pre-sleep swim. There's no better way to conclude another heavenly day!

The Pool House has a fully-equipped summer kitchen, barbecue grill, and a stocked bar for dining alfresco. There are Sonos zones by the Pool, ideal for dropping some tunes while you dine, swim, or dream.

The Guest House is a detached house overlooking the gardens but adjacent to the Main House. This house has a very large master suite and ensuite bathroom. There is a galley kitchen that connects this suite with another bedroom. There is another. The Guest House is beautifully furnished and has a lovely veranda.

The romantically named Pink Gazebo has a hillside position with dramatic bayside views. If you like some quiet contemplation, finding your brand of Zen, this is the destination for you. The Gazebo has a lower level with sunbathing area, and steps lead down to the Estate's private dock.

The Dock House is home to Bedroom 6, affectionately known as the 'doghouse.' It's the most private of the bedrooms, and guests love to drift into slumber with the soothing sounds of the surf as a lullaby.

Each house and space is finished and furnished to the highest standards. Luxurious fabrics, soft seating, wooden louvered shutters, space, and light create a modern, eclectic, yet traditionally Caribbean ambiance.

LOCATION:
Getting to Beacon Hill couldn't be easier. Commercial flights touch down at Eleuthera North Airport (1 hour by plane from Miami), where you can transfer by water taxi to The Beacon Hill Estate private dock. The journey from the airport to the taxi dock takes about 4 minutes. The water taxi journey from Eleuthera to Harbour Island (The Beacon Hill Estate dock) takes less than 10 minutes. This short transfer is the first of many memorable aspects of your amazing vacation.
