Time Flys Lodge is a spacious 3-level house offering 4,588 square feet of living space and surrounded by fabulous mountain and valley views. This welcoming and very stylish property can comfortably accommodate up to 16 guests and is a superb choice for your mountain adventure vacation for extended family or groups of friends at any time of the year.
The main living space or Great Room is on the second level and provides a wonderful place to relax in front of a large gas fireplace that is surrounded by natural stone. Here is where you can watch a movie on a big screen TV or simply enjoy the fabulous mountain vistas outside. The room has plenty of comfortable seating options with plush couches, armchairs and a round table where your guests might like to gather and perhaps play a game of cards. The warm barn wood decor is a constant happy reminder that you are in the wonderful Wild West. The adjoining dining area is furnished with an elegant wooden dining table with seating for 10 and offers a perfect setting for your group dinners with immediate access to a large deck with spectacular mountain and valley views.
The impressive gourmet kitchen features a huge center island and offers lots of counter space for any aspiring cooks to dish up a delight. The modern white cabinetry complements the best of kitchen appliances including a 5-burner gas stove, oven, dishwasher and microwave. The center island has surrounding seating for six guests which can be a setting for morning coffee, breakfast or perhaps additional seating if required for dinner guests. The large kitchen windows provide spectacular views of the beautiful forested mountains.
Time Flys Lodge has many areas where your guests can retreat for some quiet time, including a reading den and office deck upstairs, which features comfortable seating and a desk and printer for your convenience.
The exquisite master bedroom is located on the second level of the house and boasts breathtaking mountain views which you can enjoy upon waking. The en suite luxurious bathroom features dual vanity units, a 6-head shower and free-standing bathtub for an enjoyable a soak after an invigorating day in the great outdoors. 3 further bedrooms occupy the top level of the house. Two of the bedrooms share a spacious bathroom, 1 being a king bedroom and the other containing a twin bunk bed and twin bed, to sleep three. The 3rd bedroom on this top floor has a king bed and en suite bathroom with shower. The fifth bedroom is located on the lower level and has queen bunk beds and an extra queen bed, sleeping up to six people. There is also an adjacent open plan bunk / living room which provides another four queen bunks conveniently fitted with individual lighting and charging stations. This area also has an oversized couch and table area and a large flat screen TV, ideal for watching sporting events or movie nights. This space is ideal for children and teens to hang out together. From this area, you can walk out to the private hot tub for the ultimate in relaxation experience, overlooking the mountains.
Time Flys Lodge also features a heated ski room for storing your ski equipment, with boot dryers to ensure you start of your day on the slopes with warm feet! Guests can avail of the on-call shuttle service to the slopes during ski season, therefore eliminating the need for a rental car. Steamboat Springs is a picturesque mountain town in the beautiful Yampa Valley of North Colorado. Steamboat is a revered winter ski resort destination highlighted by Howelsen Hill Ski Area and the larger Steamboat Ski Resort located on Mount Werner in the Park Range of mountains. Steamboat Springs is also home to natural geothermal hot springs which are located throughout the area. When early settlers heart the gurgling chugging sound of the springs, they believed it to be a steamboat coming down the river. Hence the name.
