Outdoors you have the large, heated pool and surrounding terrace area. In addition, there is a range of gardens to enchant. The pretty, formal French gardens and fountain at the entrance are both decorative and dramatic. The ordered symmetry of this garden is beautifully counterbalanced by the more informal spaces filled with ancient olive groves and woodland. A well-tended vegetable garden and hen house provide super-fresh, field-to-table options for you to enjoy. A little history about this stately residence. The property was built in 1738 by Mr. Pierre Chabran de la ville de Saint-Remy as a central point to his oil mill business. Over generations, this gorgeous property has transformed into a splendid space to retreat and refresh in the heart of rural Provencal splendor.

Eight bedrooms, with ensuites, some with baths and/or showers, providing accommodation for up to 16 guests.

Each bedroom is air-conditioned to ensure a restful sleep.

The bedrooms have large windows and high ceilings, creating a feeling of light and airiness. The mattresses are high-quality and covered in refined bed linens. Each room has a flatscreen TV, WiFi, a Nespresso coffee machine, and a minibar. The bathrooms have Le Labo amenities.

Bedroom 5: King bed, 24 sqm of space, dressing room, bathroom with double vanity, walk-in shower, and separate WC. This bathroom has a large copper, free-standing bathtub. This bedroom has exposed beams, a sofa, and a writing desk. There's a lovely view of the French gardens.

Note: This room opens into a large bar and cinema lounge. If you are part of a conference group, this space works well for seminars.

Bedroom 6: King bed or two single beds, 20 sqm of space, bathroom with shower, sink, and WC. This bedroom has exposed beams and connects via a double door to Bedroom 7.

Note: This room and bedroom six can work very well for a couple traveling with young children. Also, this room opens into a large bar and cinema lounge.

Bedroom 8: King bed, 18 sqm of space, dressing room, bathroom with double vanity, walk-in shower, and separate WC. The view across the French gardens to the horses grazing in the meadows is beautiful. You also have the pleasure of a private terrace. This room has access to the bar-cinema lounge.

Note: Mas de Chabran is available for exclusive hire in its entirety on a weekly basis (Saturday to Saturday during high season, May through September). Mas de Chabran has an enviable location - a short walk from the lovely Provencal village, Mausanne les Alpilles. This pretty commune has several lovely restaurants and cafes. It's a wonderful place to explore, stopping for a refreshing aperitif before a delicious dinner.

Nearby larger towns like Arles and Avignon offer wider dining options. In addition, the region has excellent farmers’ markets where you can purchase the best ingredients to enjoy at home. For those who love an adrenaline rush, you can get out into the surrounding hills for hiking or biking. Some companies run brilliant quad-bike tours too.

If you like a more holistic engagement with nature, we can get you saddled up for a ride through the hills. Spending time with the gorgeous horses at the Riding Academy near Mas de Chabran is truly good for the soul. There's golf nearby; you have tennis on site too.
