Hanalei is a charming small town located a few minutes’ west of Princeville. This peaceful area is home to historic places and contemporary art galleries. The historic Hanalei Pier was constructed in 1892 and has long been a favourite meeting point for locals where they can gather to swim, fish and play music. Watching the sunset over Hanalei Bay is a must do on your next trip to the area. The area is the setting for many movies and has the true feel of a secret paradise. Hale Aku is perfect for muti-generational groups or joint family vacations.

Hale Aku is the perfect home away from home and the property has been carefully restored and renovated offering guests 4,000 sq. ft. of clean and elegant design. All of the rooms of this house flow flawlessly into the next and the beautiful wood detail throughout, simplistic design and wood floors give continuity to the property. The wood provides a warm and welcoming feel to the property and perfectly complements the natural lush surroundings outside. The property is spread across two stories allowing guests space and privacy, even within the home.

The open living and dining space upstairs is the centre point of Hale Aku and the perfectly positioned windows encourage lots of natural light, brightening up the property. This space features a well-equipped kitchen with breakfast bar, a dining space for up to 10 guests with a beautiful handmade wooden table and benches and living area with a large and comfortable L-shaped sofa and television.

Another kitchenette and lounge downstairs allow the property to work well for a group who desire some independence.

The bedrooms of Hale Aku are comfortable and spacious and there are four bedrooms in total, accommodating up to 8 guests. All of the bedrooms feature a California King Bed and a private en-suite bathroom. Two of the bedrooms are upstairs and two are downstairs, making this property ideal for multi-generational groups who require space and privacy. Of the two upstairs bedrooms, one has views to the garden while the second has beautiful mountain views and both have a private lanai. One of the bedrooms on the ground floor can be made up to feature two single beds if guests preferred.

Hale Aku also boasts a good-sized game/yoga room outdoors as well as an outside shower.

The home has also been carefully decorated. You can relax in the tasteful, yet elegant furniture and enjoy the artwork that adorns the walls. You can also stay connected with high-speed internet. There are two flat-screen TVs with DVD and CD capability and two iPod docking stations.
