Welcome to Chalet Iona, a luxurious retreat in Meribel, France. This grand-scale ski chalet enjoys a private setting but with commanding views of idyllic alpine villages looking towards the Vanoise National Park.

The graceful timber-framed property is constructed over three levels with large, terraced areas and glass-walled rooms that capture the breathtaking sweep of snow-clad hills and dramatic mountains.

This six-bedroomed property has all the charm of a traditional chalet but with luxurious and contemporary amenities and service. You will adore the spacious kitchen and dining room with a central fireplace. The dining space is east facing, and it’s where you can enjoy watching dawn paint the valley in shades of pink and gold. This large room is the beating heart of your vacation home. It’s where you will begin each day and congregate at night to enjoy exquisite dining and relaxation while you tell tall tales of your day on the slopes.

On the floor below, guests can decompress in the relaxing sitting room, where deep sofas and open fire create a cozy ambiance for post-dinner drinks. One of the two Master Suite bedrooms is located on this floor and enjoys terrace access.

The large balcony terrace that fronts two of the sitting room walls has unimpeded views across the valley. By day, it’s a swathe of natural splendor with the impressive Grand Bec mountain rising in the distance. At night, the valley is a dark velvety view dotted with the golden twinkle of homesteads and villages.

By day and night, Chalet Iona is beautifully tranquil. The soft hush of a breeze through the orchard is sweetly accompanied by the song of brave birds that thrive in this environment.

The Chalet’s lower level is where five of the six bedrooms are situated. Again there’s a large terrace space taking in the stunning views. In addition, you will find the outdoor hot tub here, plus terrace furniture, providing a relaxing space for guests to unwind and soothe their muscles after a hectic day of on-slope activity.

The Chalet has a sauna, a dedicated ski room with boot warmers, and more 21st-century amenities to enhance your vacation.

The Chalet grounds have a large garden, including an orchard, offering space for kids to romp in the snow.

Chalet Iona can comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests. Three additional guests can occupy the adjacent Chalet India, a two-level self-contained space immediately next to Iona. Chalet India has an open plan living, kitchen, and dining space and, on the mezzanine level, a double bedroom with an additional single bed. This space would work well as a children’s play area or a quiet place for a therapeutic massage. Your rental of Chalet Iona includes exclusive use of Chalet India.

The wonderful team that supports your stay at Chalet Iona includes a chef, childcare, a professional masseuse, a dedicated chauffeur for your minibus, and various housekeeping personnel. There is one staff member for every two guests, ensuring a service level that matches Chalet Iona's high standards.

Master Suite 1 is located at the Mid Level. Emperor-size bed, ensuite bathroom with shower, and separate bathtub. Terrace access with dramatic views.
Master Suite 2 is located on the Lower Level; emperor-sized bedroom with an ensuite bathroom with direct access to the jacuzzi terrace.
Bedroom 3 is located on the Lower Level, twin or super-king bed with ensuite bathroom and shower.
Bedroom 4 is located on the Lower Level, a king-size bedroom with an ensuite shower.
Bedroom 5 is located on the Lower Level, twin or super-king bed with an ensuite bathroom, shower over, and balcony access.
Bedroom 6 is located on the Lower Level, twin or super-king bed with an ensuite shower room and balcony access.
Chalet India Bedroom on the mezzanine level with king bed plus single bed, open to bath and washbasin. Separate WC.

The spacious bedrooms range in size from 26 to 12 square meters. Four of the bedrooms have ample space for infant cots.

Chambery is the nearest airport and an ideal setdown for a private jet. For commercial flights, Geneva is about two hours by car.
