Welcome to Capitol Peak Lodge 3404, an ultra-luxurious 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom ski cabin located close to the Elk Camp gondola at the base of the piste, and offering ski-in/ski-out access. It is wonderfully situated just a few steps to the main area of shops and restaurants that Snowmass has to offer.

Located on the top floor, and on the corner of the building, it allows for expansive views from the huge floor to ceiling windows, making it the perfect spot to watch the ski activity below.

The interior is stylish and modern but with a luxurious feel that promotes comfort and calm. On entering the property, you will find an open-plan living-cum-dining room bathed in light from the large windows which offer breathtaking mountain views. Generous proportions give the living room an airy feel, and the gas fireplace provides a warming focal point, alongside a wall mounted flat-screen TV. We love the cozy L-shaped sofa surrounding the fire - a convivial spot to relax with a cocktail after a day of fresh mountain air. Behind the sofa is a large dining table, located right by the vast panoramic window, and which can seat up to 8 people.

Maintaining the open-concept theme, the kitchen overlooks the living room and dining area, separating it with a handy breakfast bar with 6 stools, from which you can enjoy a morning coffee before embarking on a day’s snow filled adventure. As you would expect, the kitchen is fully equipped with all modern conveniences and an electric range. Hardwood flooring features throughout the living areas, adding to the warm ambience.

A lovely covered balcony with a seating area can be accessed from one of the bedrooms, and is a delightful place to take in the view over Snowmass and the mountain beyond. The 3 bedrooms are cozy and comfortable, with timber furnishings and a homely feel. The residence can sleep up to 8 people in 1 king bedroom, 1 queen bedroom, a twin-bedded room and an additional Queen Sleeper Sofa.

During your stay you will also have access to the common facilities of Capitol Peak Lodge, including a fitness area, two hot tubs, a games room and ski lockers for safe storage of ski equipment. Another great benefit to enjoy whilst staying here is the complimentary transportation to/from Aspen, Aspen Airport and within Snowmass Village, allowing you to maximize your relaxation time. If you prefer to have the flexibility of your own vehicle, one underground heated parking space is available for one car.

LOCATION
The ideal location of Capitol Peak Lodge makes it a great choice for a family getaway to Snowmass Base Village, one of the most sought-after skiing destinations in Colorado. Being just a stones’ throw from the Elk Camp Gondola, the Village Express Lift and the Sky Cab allows for ski-in/ski-out access maximizing precious skiing time.

Snowmass mountain is, in itself, a remarkable ski destination with spectacular scenery, but one of the added benefits of staying here is that you have the choice of four mountains to choose from. Just one one lift ticket will provide access to the three other nearby ski resorts: Aspen Mountain, Buttermilk, and Aspen Highlands.

We consider Snowmass Resort to be one of the best family destinations due to the diversity of terrain available for all abilities of skier, and because of the huge choice of child friendly facilities for kids to enjoy.
