Welcome to Alumbrera, a very glamorous 5 bedroom mansion located on a cliff top overlooking the famous Macaroni Beach. Alumbrera as well as having the most incredible views is also one of the few villas on the island that is walking distance via a private footpath to Macaroni beach which was voted as one of the top 10 beaches in the world.
Alumbrera Mustique which was featured in Architectural Digest is the perfect place on the island of Mustique from which to watch the beautiful sunrise and moonrise.
You approach the heart of this luxury Mustique vacation rental via a beautiful pebbled courtyard and fountain. The main living, dining, and bar areas are housed in their own beautiful open style extremely spacious Pavilion. The interiors are quiet and contemporary with some stunning modern art pieces and sculptures. This beautifully furnished area with super comfortable couches and day beds perfect for relaxing, reading a book, or enjoying the incredible view of the Atlantic and Macaroni Beach.
Four of the bedrooms are located in a pavilion just off the main living area. Three of these bedrooms have a stunning private courtyard and outdoor showers. Two of the bedrooms share a bathroom making this room the perfect place for families. The master bedroom is particularly beautiful also with its own terrace and outdoor shower.
The outdoor areas of Alumbrera are equally beautiful. Several steps bring you down via lovely tropical gardens to the pool area which is very private. It has a covered gazebo to one side with a full wet bar and dining area. Around the pool which is 40 feet in length, you will find super comfortable day beds to enjoy the wonderful Caribbean sun.
In addition, Alumbrera has a well-equipped gym, a media room, a games room with a pool table, and a private tennis court.
STAFF: The team of six, led by your own butler and concierge, will look after you’re every need and will help make this your home from home. Picnics on the beach, swimming with turtles, candlelit dinners in the gazebo, sunset cocktails, and quiet afternoons reading a book are all part of the Alumbrera experience.

Meet the chef
Roland Cato has been at Alumbrera since 2001. He spent seven years working at Raffles Resort in Canouan. He brings to Alumbrera a multitude of different culinary styles but specializes in Italian. Roland benefited from some additional FCI (French Culinary Institute) courses held on the island where he received various distinctions.

Mustique which is less than 3 square miles in size is one of the most stunningly beautiful and exclusive private islands in the world. If you are looking for pristine beautiful sandy beaches, unspoiled scenery and complete privacy away from the hustle and bustle of some of the more populated islands in the Caribbean then Mustique is the place for you. Located in the beautiful Grenadines at the southern end of the Caribbean, Mustique is largely protected from the hurricanes that can sweep some of the more northern Caribbean Islands.
The real essence of Mustique is true bare foot luxury combined with an incredibly friendly open house party atmosphere.
