This four-bedroomed property occupies a large verdant footprint surrounded by mature gardens, dramatic views, and a large private pool.

Close to the historic village of Grimaud, this beautifully restored French home is a masterclass in Provencal design, with tiled floors, vaulted timber-beamed ceilings, and large glass doors that unite the refined interiors with the spacious exteriors.

This airy Villa is built across one level. The integrity of the original stone structure and tiled roofs has been maintained, and Villa Queste looks very at home in its natural setting amid the ancient olive trees. The large living room that blends with the indoor dining space and adjacent kitchen has a gorgeous fireplace and the original stone arches that connect each space on this level.

The Villa's kitchen has all the expected amenities, including a fridge freezer, electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher and microwave, and espresso machine. Delicious meals curated from the best local produce can be transformed into unforgettable celebratory dining indoors or on the shaded terrace.

Villa Queste's four bedrooms are all located on the ground floor. Two of the bedrooms have direct access to the terrace. Each bedroom has a private bathroom, one with a bath and the remaining with showers.

The terraces and gardens of Villa Queste are exquisite. The large pool (13.5m x 5m) is the focal point for relaxation. Luxury sun loungers are placed around the pool, and the adjacent pool house provides a shaded space for dining and relaxation. The beautiful gardens provide natural privacy. Mature olive trees and flowering shrubs blend with the vast rural horizon, celebrating pastoral charm.

Villa Queste is five minutes from the historic and ancient village of Grimaud. This beautiful Town is dominated by its 11th Century castle. You will adore walking around the pretty narrow streets, stopping for a delicious lunch or cool drink, and admiring the spectacular views from the ramparts.

A journey of about 11km (7 miles) will bring you and your fellow guests to the chichi St Tropez. This iconic destination never ceases to charm visitors. The marina has state-of-the-art yachts that decant the beau monde (beautiful people) who drift around the Town like exotic birds of paradise. There's wonderful dining, nightlife, and beaches – something for everyone.

If you want excellent ingredients to enhance your home-dining, the local markets across the Cote d'Azur provide the best fresh produce. St Tropez has a bi-weekly market where chatty vendors will display an array of seafood, meat, bread, cheeses, and olives that will astound. Pick up some fabulous local wines to enhance your al fresco dining, and you will be in epicurean paradise.
