Churchtown House Beaufort

Churchtown House is a beautifully restored luxury Georgian manor house located less than a 15 minute drive from Killarney in the delightful rural village of Beaufort in County Kerry. It is part of a 250 acre Estate which includes agricultural land along with Beaufort Golf Course which is discreetly located alongside the property.

There is a long driveway up to the house and then you enter through the main front door into the impressive and large hall. There are two reception rooms to the front of the house, one of which has a TV with Sky Satellite channels. There is a formal dining room with a table to seat 12 people. The main living area is to the rear of the house and is an open plan kitchen and dining area with a large table to seat up to 14 people. This is a comfortable and sociable space and we find that most of our guests spend the majority of their time in this part of the house. There is a patio leading from the kitchen with furniture outside so you can relax and enjoy your spectacular location and the views towards the mighty Macgillycuddy Reeks mountain range.

The kitchen is very well equipped to cater for large groups and has an Aga, electric oven, two dishwashers and everything else you might need during your stay!

Sleeping 12-14 people, Churchtown House has 6 fine bedrooms, each of which has a modern new bathroom with both a bathtub and a walk in shower. All bedrooms are located on either the first or second floor and are accessed by a gentle staircase. One bedroom has an Four Poster Bed from the original owners and the remainder of the bedrooms can be made up as king or twin beds. There are an additional two pull out beds in one of the bedrooms to accommodate 2 people. There is a TV in each bedroom offering Saor View free to air channels. Baby cots and highchairs are available if required.

For recreation, there is a lawned area surrounding the house along with a full size tennis court. There is even a pool table in the house. Wifi is available free of charge to our guests and while staying at Churchtown House you can avail of concessionary green fees at Beaufort Golf Course next door which also has a Club House serving fine food and drink within a short stroll of the property.

Killarney is less than a 15 minute drive away so this is the ideal home to stay in while discovering all that the wonderful county of Kerry has to offer.
